Dear Family,
You must be greatly surprised when you get this letter, not from anyone else but from your dearest son, since I have never written a letter for ages in such a traditional way. The purpose of my writing is not so much to express my gratitude for bringing me up, as it is to tell you something about my college life.
It has been more than two years since I started my college life and I have adapted myself to the new environment here, even though at the very beginning, I was not quite used to it. My classmates are pretty friendly and they offer to help me whenever need be, which is really precious for me. My teachers tell me the differences between college life and high school life and give me some necessary advice on how to learn in college. Because of their kind-hearted help, I learn to know the importance of cooperation and communications between each other, especially when in Group work.
In the past several months, I have been busy preparing for TEM 4.Therefore, most of the time, I stayed at school and seldom kept in touch with you; I should have been ashamed of this. But now it is completely finished, and I will never do that again. In my spare time, I usually go to play basketball to keep fit since you always ask me to practice more to keep healthy. What is more, I like to go to the English Corner to practice my spoken English in order to improve my oral English level, which is of importance as English major.
Finally, I would like to specially thank you for providing me the best education and experience. Without your support and understanding, it wouldn't be the same. In regard to the future, I will make every effort to study for my degree and make the dreams I had envisioned come true.

你到部队三个多月了，马上快过年了，我和爸妈很想你，我时常想起你是第一次离开父母离开家乡，只是，你这次走的远，真的不知道你在那边是否一切都好！弟，我脑海里总是浮现你穿上一身新军装时的神采飞扬的样子，你真的是要长大了，所以你要记得，你是个男子汉，男儿膝下有黄金，只能流血不流泪。多么的希望你能够自信，勇敢，真诚，善良，我想用一切美好的词语来描绘你，或许是因为距离产生美吧！你是年轻的，所以你会有更多的希望和努力的机会来让我和爸妈骄傲。说了这么多其实还是最担心你，我和爸妈一样的挂念你，担心你，不知道你那里的天气会不会很冷，不知道你会不会好好的照顾自己，不知道那里的饭菜你吃的惯吗，有没有很好的完成你的任务，有没有和你的战友处好关系……说了这么多，你会不会突然觉得我很烦！弟，你一定要保护好自己，不要生病。身体才是革命的本钱，要多吃饭，你们每天都训练训练，所以你要很快的适应那些高强度的训练，不要担心自己是否能行，要有绝对的信心，从此你就是个男子汉了，还记得我对你说过的话吗，要想别人相信你，首先你要有能力，我相信你可以。出门在外你要学着吃苦，要学着承担，要学着努力。弟，出门在外要学会与人为善。军队也是一个小的社会，你要学着与邻为友，不要怕吃亏，只要不是原则的问题，只要不辱尊严，都要学会退让，适当的后退你也许会得到更多。要学着谦虚，每个人都有他的优点特点，不要随意的看不起什么人，没有谁会永远比谁差，或者你眼前你这个不起眼的人以后的某一天却会让你感激不及。加入了部队这个集体，你可能就要承担更多的苦闷，汗水，和背后的泪水，可是姐相信你能行，一生热爱难回头，既然选择了就要全力的做好，“不愿当元帅的士兵不是好士兵”，你一定要积极向上，刻苦努力，在部队这个新的舞台上实现你的自身价值，部队是个大熔炉，也许不久的将来你也会给我讲很多的人生道理，部队真的很锻炼人，相信到时候你就会成为一个让我很崇拜的人！
记得每天都要充满理想的生活，你要快乐，你要乐观，你要坚韧，也要强悍，让自己强大。说了这么多，你要有什么想法也可以和我说，我保证你的消息我绝对秒回，刚去了那边你可能有点不适应，总之，在部队里照顾好自己，尊重领导，和战友们搞好关系，爸妈和我都很好，你就在安心在部队，努力做出好成绩。
还有就是我经常给你说的有时间多给家里电话，爸妈都很惦念你。记得有什么事儿就和姐说，我和爸妈会做你坚实的精神后盾的，等待你成功的好消息！

Last week,I was so happy,because our class planned to have the activity.All of us felt so excited,we decided to have the picnic on the park.We played some games,the ones who lost the game were punished in some interesting ways.When I got punished,I was asked to ask the stranger to give the cell phone number.I felt so awkward,but I conquered my fear and finished the task.We laughed so happily,we had done so many things that we dared not to do before.We took many pictures and recorded the unforgettable moment.I wish we can have more class activities,it is a good time to promote the munication.
上周，我很高兴，因为我们班有活动计划。我们都感到很兴奋，我们决定出去公园野餐。我们玩一些游戏，输了的人会受到一些搞笑惩罚。当我被惩罚的时候，我被要求问陌生人给手机号码。我感到很尴尬，但是我征服了恐惧，完成了任务。我们笑这么开心，做了很多我们之前不敢做的事情。我们拍了许多照片，记录下了这些难忘的时刻。我期望我们能够有更多的班级活动，这是一个促进沟通的好机会。
