你们好!又是一年新暑假，孩子们又大了一岁。在此，我们高中部全体领导、教职员工向相信、关心、支持我们部教育教学教研教改工作的各位家长表示最崇高的敬意和最美好的祝福。
一年来，我部在公司、学校的领导下，各位家长的支持配合下，通过师生共同努力，在教育、教学、教研、教改等方面取得了可喜成绩，得到了领导和群众的一致好评。
我们坚持以“自主探索，主动发展”的办学理念;强化“教育服务意识，对所有学生负责”，“全面育人，使每个学生进步”， 秉承“以德为魂，以能为本，以勤为经，以创为先”的育人理念，坚信“万事德为首”“品德高于能力， 性格大于才华”，树立“德才兼备，全面发展”的人才观。
本期以来，我部大力推广素质教育，竭力营造素质教育环境，努力搭建素质教育能力展示平台。我们举办了“放飞梦想”演讲赛，学生篮球运动会，游园活动，“春光美”文艺晚会，英语知识抢答比赛，“云外情”文化艺术节，班级球赛，电脑报制作，网页制作，校报，班报，各科的社会实践调查……通过各类活动的开展，让学生融入素质教育情境之中，增强了自信心，树立了团结协作的集体主义观念，提高了实践能力，培养了创新意识。我们在素质教育的同时，狠抓各级各类管理：大胆开展教育教学改革，严格要求教师提高教学效率，牢记学校的办学目标和高考的高标准;指导学生既注重课堂学习的效率，加强学生课余时间管理;教师全程参与、辅导、监督、交流、谈心，让学生有充足的自主学习时间。通过一学期时间的实践，学生行为习惯和学习习惯已基本形成。孩子的成长，使家长与我们感到无比欣慰———看到孩子的闪光点，让我们一起赏识孩子吧!
暑假时间长，是学生融入生活、社会、参与社会实践的大好机会，在此期间，我们要生不但要完成各科教师布置的暑假作业，学生处德育作业，还要走入社会，参与社会实践，去观摩、体验、感受、思考人生、理想、社会……希望家长能在作业上加以督促， 生活上加以引导， 抽出宝贵的时间多和孩子谈心交流——畅谈人生、理想、社会。同时，我们要求教师利用电话、网络、家访等手段多和学生家长取得联系：答疑、解疑、交流———让我们共同关注孩子吧!
特别强调：请家长严格要求孩子远离黄、赌、毒，不上营业性网吧，不下河下塘游泳，加强各类安全教育和督查，提醒学生做文明公民，遵纪守法。

I went to the countryside to spend my summer holidays this year. I liked green plants, clear rivers and lovely amimals there.I breathed the fresh air on the mountain and sometimes I went swimming in the river. I kept a diary every day.
I liked not only the scene of the countryside, but also the people there. I helped them to do farm work. I also helped the children in the neighbourhood with their lessons.
