农药的施用势必会出现残留的情况，而随着时间的推移，农作物的农药残留量会逐渐的减少，而这个时间也就是农药所谓的安全时间，不同的农药的安全时间不完全相同，农药包装基本都有标明具体的安全时间，但是为了能够使得农作物可以更快的上市，且农民本身对于农药的安全时间概念的认识就不够深入，所以在作物即将上市的时候，农民依然在喷洒农药，这就导致作物的农药残留量严重的超标，对人体的健康产生了非常严重的威胁。
