早上，我背起书包一出门，天正下着毛毛细雨，地上湿漉漉的，显然是昨晚下过雨。
我心想：天下着雨，老师会不会取消秋游呢，那一大堆精挑细选的食品，不是白费了吗？我抱着一丝希望来到教室，只见数学老师正在黑板上写书上的`例题。我的心一下子提到了嗓子眼，“难道今天不去秋游要上课吗？去问老师吧，万一老师说不去秋游，这叫我怎么忍受得了呢；不去问老师吧，我又不放心。算了，还是去问吧”。于是，我硬着头皮来到数学老师旁边，问：“老师，今天还去不去秋游？”“下雨了。”我深深地知道，这个意思就说秋游被取消了。我踏着沉重的步子失望地回到了座位。
突然，语文老师叫我们排队去操场。“难道出操了。”我再一次失望了。进入操场，校长讲了一些注意安全，注意卫生之类的话，我才知道，我刚才是虚惊一场罢了。
