美国的金门大桥以建筑奇伟、气势恢宏而著称于世。在金门大桥附近有一座刻意模仿它而建造的大桥一一弯曲大桥，除外观外，其宽度、实用价值等均胜于金门大桥，但知名度远逊于金门大桥。原因何在?有人意味深长地说：“这就是第一和第二的区别。”区别是什么呢?金门大桥经过设计师长期思考酝酿才设计建成，具有独特风格，是创新的桥：而弯曲大桥只不过是金门大桥的`翻版，是模仿的桥。它们的造型相似，内涵却大有区别，因为模仿仅是停留在浅层次的思维活动，而创新则是更高层次的思维活动，所以它更高级、更被人们重视。正是创新推动着人类社会前进。
创新需要勇气。创新需要打破原有的禁锢，需要冒风险。而模仿徘徊于别人的老路，无风险更无需勇气。开一代山水画风的张大千，少时临摹前清著名画家石涛的作品，能以假乱真，但他并不满足于这些，毅然放弃模仿别人的作品，以无穷的勇气开创了自己的山水画法，震动了画坛。如果他没有勇气停止制造石涛“质品，’，没有勇气自己探索，那世上就多了一位平庸的画家，少了一位彪炳画史的巨匠。
创新更需要高度的智慧。高尔基说过：第一个把少女比做鲜花的是天才，第二个则是庸才，第三个便是蠢才。的确，创新的作品总能给人以耳目一新的感觉，因为它经过了人脑思维活动，由量变到质变的飞跃，是智慧的结晶。而模仿只是浅层次的再创造，如果把创新比做撰写一篇文章的话，模仿也只是将其化为铅字，再印出几篇来而已。
但这并不是说我们要一味地排斥模仿。模仿也是一种实践活动，人们可以从模仿中获得创新的灵感，找到创新的途径。但不能囿于模仿。齐白石曾说：“学我者生，似我者死。”这个“学”字反映出从模仿到创新的过程。“似”便是满足于模仿而不前行了。如果弯曲大桥设计者“学”而不“似”，想必世上又能多了一种奇观吧。
当前改革开放，新事物不断涌现，我们需要模仿，但更需要创新，我们应放下包袱，开动机器，以百倍的勇气和创新的精神，修建一座真正有中国特色的通往美好未来的大桥!

人是在模仿中成长的。有的人因为善于模仿而获得成功。象今年春晚上成名的“小沈阳”就是这样。我的第一次模仿也收获不小，这次模仿挣得了一个非常漂亮的，目前已经用了六年的书包。记得还是我六岁的时候，星期天爸爸、妈妈带我到新街口玩，走到中央商场时，看见门口正搭着台子，铺着红地毯，正响着音乐，人山人海的，热闹极了。我们也凑凑热闹，原来是在搞手机促销活动。只见主持人在介绍手机的型号、功能和特点，介绍完后，主持人宣布说：现在邀请三个人到台上来，一个大哥哥，一位年龄40多岁的阿姨上去了，我就勇敢地上去了。随后拿着手机的的模特儿出场了，只见她们和着音乐，一会儿摆这个动作，一会儿摆那个姿势，各种各样的姿势，好看极了。模特表演完后，主持人让我们三人模仿。首先模仿的是大哥哥，他十分紧张，动作硬梆梆的，像个木偶人似的，羞红了脸，走了个小圈。接着阿姨开始模仿，只见她从包里掏出墨镜戴上，咳了两声，意思是开始模仿了，她左手往后一背，右手举着手机，跨着大步绕舞台走了一大圈.台下的人们笑的前仰后合。该我出场了，我左手叉着腰，右手拿着手机，扭着屁股，迈着模特儿的步子，走到台前了，模仿着模特儿的样子走来走去，转了两圈，然后摆了个姿势，只见台下的观众大声叫着：“好!”然后掌声响起!模特表演完后，主持人还让我们向台下观众说新。之后，主持人让观众评出一等奖。台下的观众都说小朋友模仿的最好，应该拿一等奖。主持人当场宣布我获得一等奖，奖励一个书包。“耶......!”我在台上激动地欢呼着，跳跃着!这次模仿虽然只是挣得一个书包，但积极参与、敢于挑战自我。
