现代手机的好处就是非常方便，它的功能远远的超过一般的手机，它有许多的应用程序可以帮你解决一些疑难杂症，或着你也可以用来娱乐，降低你烦燥的`心情，而且还有一种应用程序不用电话就可以和别人聊天，甚至你只要用手机就可以到电脑上的一些网站浏览或者看新闻等资讯，就觉得手机是非常好用的一个产品。
但手机也有个坏处就是常常使用的话可能会造成我们视觉上的伤害，也可能害我们变成低头族，所谓的低头族就是因为许多人常常滑手机而头低低的看着手机萤幕，所以才叫做低头族，而专家发现低头的这个动作可能影响到脖子，所以建议大家不要长时间的低着头看手机，以免造成身体上的伤害。
我觉的手机是很好用没错，但是不要太过度使用，因为它有可能会是我们的身体受到伤害，所以我建议大家用玩手机后可以做个眼球运动让自己的眼睛可以休息一下，顺便转转自己的脖子不药让他一直摆着同样的姿势，相信做完之后就不会再让自己的眼睛和脖子受伤了。

手机大约在八几年开始使用，但只是使用在一些大城市中比较富裕的有钱人家和一些有特别需要的人。到了九几年手机开始普遍化、大重化、流行化，而不只是局限于个别的人。
青年人、中年人、老年人都可以拥有自己的手机，甚至手机在一些学生中都拥有一定的低位、受到一定的青睐。手机的功能也随着时间的发展、社会的进步而越来广泛。一开始只能用于通电话、发短信，渐渐地我们可以用手机听音乐、玩游戏。
而现在的手机除了那些简单的功能以外还加入了现代化元素，除了手机可以看电视以外还可以上网、上QQ还可以与别人视频通话聊天。如此可见手机在人们日常中的地位与需求。
走在大街上，你会看到很多人都在使用手机，有了手机无论遥远还是很近，无论内地还是海外交流都畅通无阻；有了手机通话变得越来越方便，世界变得 越来越小；有了手机你在哪里别人都可以找到你，与你通话；有了手机你不用坐在家里等别人的电话，在外面照样交流。手机让我们的联系更简单，通话更方便，我们的交流需要也得到了更高标准的满足。
手机上网也实现了很多人的现实需求，手机随着时代的进步所延伸出来的各种现代化功能给人们带来了诸多益惠。手机虽然有这么多的优点但缺点也一定是固然存在的。
有的学生过早的使用手机而引发了诸多的弊端。利如：长时间的玩手机中的游戏会始我们的眼睛因缺乏休息而酸累，甚至这会成为我们视力下降得元凶、长时间的玩手机中的游戏更有可能使我们忘记了学习，而导致我们的学习下降、手机中的电子书会使我们过早的成熟、不利于我们的身心发展更不利于我们的健康成长。
如果这样手机就不是为我们的生活带来便利而是对更多人的成长带来阻力。
我们如何让手机的弊端转化为利端呢？我想这就要靠人们的约束力了。
