礼仪是人们生活中和社会交往中约定俗成的，人们可以根据各式各样的礼仪规范，正确把握与外界的人际交往尺度，合理地处理好人与人的关系。如果没有这些礼仪规范，人们往往会在交往中感到手足无措，乃至失礼与人，闹出笑话。
礼仪是塑造形象的重要手段。在社会活动中，交谈讲究礼仪，可以变得文明；举止讲究礼仪，可以变得高雅；穿着讲究礼仪，可以变得大方；行为讲究礼仪，可以变得美好……总之，一个人只要讲究礼仪，就会充满魅力，事情就会做得恰到好处。
“人无德不立，国无德不兴”。公民道德的好坏，体现着一个民族的`精神状态，影响着一个民族事业的兴衰。一个人的言行，往往表现出个人素质的高低，进而影响着整个集体的总体素质状况。一个人是否爱护公共设施，从小处可以反映出一个人道德素质的高低；一个学校校风的好坏，从大处可以反映出一个国家文明程度及民族素质的高低。作为中华人民共和国的公民，我们都应该规范自己的行为。
学生与人交往、谈吐的基本礼仪是敬称。长辈、友人或初识的人称“您”；对师长、社会工作人员要称呼职务或“老师”、“叔叔”等，不直呼其姓名；对他人提出要求时说“请”；与人打招呼时说“您好”；与人分手时说“再见”；给人添麻烦时说“对不起”；别人向自己致谢时说“没关系”；得到别人的帮助时说“谢谢！”。
我们还要注重服饰礼仪：要有时代特点，体现时代精神；要注意个人性格特点；要符合自己的体型。

When I was in high school, there was a teacher who taught me more than that in was a very kind boy, 4 or 5 years older than us and taught us geography. We all liked to take his class, though geography was not our major course.
