If I were a boy again, I would practice perseverance more often, and never give up a thing because it was or inconvenient. If we want light, we must conquer darkness. Perseverance can sometimes equal genius in its results. There are only two creatures, says a proverb, Who can surmount the pyramids — the eagle and the snail.

If I were a boy again, I would school myself into a habit of attention; I would let nothing come between me and the subject in hand. I would remember that a good skater never tries to skate in two directions at once.

The habit of attention becomes part of our life, if we begin early enough. I often hear grown up people say, I could not fix my attention on the sermon or book, although I wished to do so, and the reason is, the habit was not formed in youth.

If I were to live my life over again, I would pay more attention to the cultivation of the memory. I would strengthen that faculty by every possible means, and on every possible occasion. It takes a little hard work at first to remember things accurately; but memory soon helps itself, and gives very little trouble. It only needs early cultivation to become a power.

the summer vacation had come round again. i was happy that i could forget about school at least for a while. lest i fool around all through this summer vacation, i made a plan as to how to spend it. first, i thought i should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that i could have a better understanding of them.

then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time. i did, because i lived up to what i had planned.

夜幕拉开了，黑色悄无声息地蔓延。我循环播放着那首范冰冰的《刚刚开始》，时光总是在不觉中流逝，就好像昨天才踏入这个陌生而又憧憬的学校，明天却将要为他画上尾声一样。

我站在窗边，那深邃的夜色将整个小区包围，一切即如我的内心，寂静极了，只是偶尔听得几声车鸣。不知是怎样的一种情绪牵动了我，想出去走走，孤身一人走在街道上，任灯光将自己的背影拉长，是一种怎样的感受?

半月悬挂在夜空中，还有几丝深蓝色浮云游走。我漫无目的地行走，耳边传来人群的嘈杂声，这是一个中心广场。那些小贩们在吆喝，吃的喝的玩乐的，似乎应有尽有。人们跳着广场舞，不过多数是些中年人，眼前尽是霓虹灯的闪耀，迷乱了视线。我竟觉得这眼前之景距我如此遥远，好似浮夸，只想逃离。

走近湖畔，清新的水气扑面而来，还有潺潺的流水声，静静流淌。突然想起了老师曾说过的一句话：“当你觉得累了的时候，便去寻有山有树有水的地方。”看着水中若隐若现的倒影，想着这话其中道理，或许我的内心也可以像这一汪湖水般沉淀。环着湖边向北走去，留意到身边一张张变换的面孔，似乎一张张面孔渐渐苍老，渐渐爬上了皱纹，直至消失不见。听着他们的谈笑声，家里的琐事，情感的纠葛，一切都交织在一起。湖畔的小亭中，有三三俩俩的老年人聚集。再向前，一块空地上，那些老年人们在打太极，缓和轻灵。一台老式播放机里播放着柔曼舒缓的音乐。我走到了湖的尽头，驻足欣赏，回首来路，时光是如此的不小心，不小心就白了头，不小心就溜到了尽头。

就像范冰冰在歌声里唱到：“好想一切才刚刚开始，打着代表胜利的手势。”我该庆幸，我才刚刚开始，我的人生才刚刚开始，我还有时间，我还可以去珍惜，我还可以去拼搏——直至白了少年头时，还可以回首这段往事，问心无愧。

漆黑的天空像幕布一样拉开了，新的一天开始了。他伸展了翅膀，并开始思考，开始怀疑，开始觉悟，并最终开始了行动。遨翔于蓝天之巅，俯视于众山之尘，这是他的梦想，也是作为鹰的一员生命意义的所在。

一次次，起飞与坠落，尝试和失败。一天天，光阴似箭，日月如梭。黑云聚拢，又分散。皎洁的月光下他静静地注视着自己的那双满是伤痕的翅膀，杂乱的羽毛，坚定的眼神中，写满了不屈，是鹰一族永不磨灭的精神传承。

还记得刚出生，他对于飞行那热衷的态度，还有鹰妈妈的辛苦引导，他取得了一定的成绩。然而这成了他骄傲的资本，他并没有取得更大的飞跃，而总是在原地踏步，安于现状。以致于他永远的生活在了地面，在天空中飞翔的现状变成了一种奢望。鹰妈妈——对他抱有极大希望的人，在最后无奈的离开了他。他为他的不可一世付出了代价，每每他在矮树上度日，看到往来自由翱翔的鸟类，才发现蓝天才是他真正的归宿，花花草草、山山水水并不能满足。

“我要飞上蓝天!”这是他唯一的愿望。

天刚刚破晓，他已经飞出了自己栖息的地方，来到一处高耸的悬崖上。经过数天的苦练，他已不能再等待。他伸展开翅膀，那是一对雄健、有力、年青、自信的翅膀，阳光洒在它的上面，更增添了几分朝气。生死、成败、飞翔与坠落、在他飞上天空的一刹那已经变得不再重要了，他享受的是那在天空中展翅翱翔的过程，他挥动翅膀，飞向了远方，空中的他显得不再迷茫，自信满满。

鹰最终还是飞上了天空，这其中，满是努力和坚持，是的，生活，才刚刚开始。
