记得有一次放假，我来到家里时只见到家里就有奶奶和爷爷，我就问奶奶说：“奶奶，爸爸妈妈去哪儿了。”奶奶说：“***和你爸去送货了，可能今天晚上回来。”当我听到这个喜讯时，我立刻跑进了屋里把书包往床上一扔就打开了电脑，我玩电脑玩的连饭都不吃了。光阴似箭日月如梭，很快到了晚上。爸爸妈妈回来了，可是我玩的根本就没有察觉爸爸妈妈的回来，我继续向往前一样接着玩。妈妈因为过于疲劳吃完饭就睡觉了，我心想：“妈妈那么快就睡了，那爸爸肯定也跟妈妈一样。”可是我万万没有想到爸爸吃完饭首先就问我：“这周考试了吗，考了几分，考了第几名?”我自信满满地说：“考了，考了91分，考了第3名。”爸爸听后大声吼到：“怎么考了这么点分，怎么不是第一。”我又说：“够高了，我前几名都是比我聪明的人我根本就追不上他们。”爸爸又吼到：“你再用心些吗，还用考那么点分!”最后，我是在是比不过爸爸了，我就把头低了下来。

有一次，放学回家的路上，下起了鹅毛般的大雪，刮起了阵阵寒风，我用尽全身力气骑自行车，无意中，我发现了清理垃圾的环卫工人，他们在一丝不苟的清理着，我看了一会儿，终于忍不住就问他们：“你们为什么这么认真呢?”一位大妈说：“无论做什么工作，都要尽力做好”。虽然，这是不起眼的工作，但是环卫工人这种不怕别人嘲笑，为我们无私奉献的精神值得我们学习。
环卫工人无论在多么艰苦的情况下，他们从不怕脏、不怕累，做好自己的本职工作。
回到家，我悟出了一个道理：无论干什么，都要尽自己的所能去做。
