今天虽然天气不好，可是来游览的人却特别的多。我们在入口处一阵焦急的等待之后，终于开始登长城了。
以前只是在课本和电视画面中看到长城的雄伟壮丽，现在亲眼目睹，我突然感觉自己全身的血液都沸腾起来。之前只听说过长城的长，确实如此，放眼望去，连绵起伏的山头总有长城的身影，前不见头后不见尾，顺着山脊一直延伸到天边。
在长城入口处不远，通道两边各有一个宽大的平台，平台上摆放着几门威武的火炮，锈迹斑斑的炮筒足以见证它沧桑的历史。
我随着拥挤的人流登上长城。脚踏着被磨得光滑的城砖，手扶着凹凸不平的条石，我放眼四望，心旷神怡。长城像一条蜿蜒的巨龙卧在连绵起伏的崇山峻岭上。长城两侧一片翠绿，树木郁郁葱葱，早已不见了往日的苍凉和荒漠。长城上游人来来往往，川流不息，像是给长城穿上了一件迷人的彩衣。
正当我们要爬上“好汉坡”时，天暗下来了，刮起了大风，一会儿就下起了大雨。我们马上往回走。
在回来的路上，我让爸爸在***题词的“不到长城非好汉”碑前冒雨拍了一张留念照，算是给我今天当上了好汉的见证。
