终于要打仗了，战场真的很残酷，平日和我在一起的很多哥们都相继战死，尸骨随处可见。我比以前坚强了很多，不再是一位柔弱的女子。晚上清冷的月光映照在每一个活下的战士们的铁甲战袍上。我们经过了无数次出生入死的战斗，十年之后才得胜归来。
我们胜利归来拜见天子。由于我出色的表现被记功多次，可以得到千百金的赏赐。可我根本不想做尚书郎也不想要那些赏金，只希望骑上一匹好马，借助它的脚力送我回故乡见思念多年的父母。
父母欣喜地听说我即将回来，激动地互相搀扶着到城外迎接我，姐姐听说我要回来了，连忙梳妆打扮；刚刚成人的弟弟听说我要回来了，忙着磨刀***猪宰羊。十年的征战，终于胜利归来。我又回到了故乡，每一个人变化都很大，父母比以前更加的苍老，姐姐也成了家，弟弟也已长成一位英俊的少年。归来的那天，家里充满了欢乐的气氛，我又再次走进我房间，像以前一样坐在我的.床上，脱下陪我数年的战袍，换上我以前的旧衣裳，对着镜子兴奋地帖花黄。在不经意之间我发现我已不是当年的花木兰，皮肤粗糙，说话不在是细细的声音，与花黄显的有些不匹配。可我的内心依旧充满了喜悦。出门去见同去出征的伙伴，伙伴们都大吃一惊，没想到我竟是个女孩子。
