相柳看待事情很通透，他喜欢小夭，却知道自己和小夭在一起只能是重蹈她母亲的覆辙，所以比起说说相柳爱小夭，更可说相柳是小夭的哥哥，他把他们之间的距离拉得刚刚好，做错事会教训小夭，小夭有麻烦总会默默在她身边，不告诉她，小夭初见相柳唯一说的一句真话是我无力自保、无人相依、无处可去，于是相柳用数十年的箭术，倾力相教，让小夭有力自保；在璟被***害后，相柳驱策鲛人救下了璟，并让小夭用血制药引她恨他，其实是为了让小夭有如意情郎，有人相依；为小夭续命时，让小夭的身体可以适宜海中生存，给她海图，让她有处可去，不必再被人追逼，无处安家。
“小夭，从今往后，我再不能守护你了，你要好好照顾自己。有力自保，有人相依，有处可去，愿你一世安乐无忧！”相柳的一往情深，最后却只能化作一个大肚的笑面娃娃借别人之手送与小夭当做新婚礼物，娃娃肚子里承载了相柳隐秘愿望的水晶球大概永远会不见天日吧。得相柳一生足矣。刚开始替相柳感到悲哀，可若将他看作小夭的哥哥，悲伤也逐渐缓解。还值得说一说的是相柳对共工的忠诚，放眼天地间，也就数他一个了吧。
小夭待事凉薄，实则不想将一心托给他人，她害怕只是刹那的烟火，绽放在天空只会随着彩霞消逝云端，够不着，也不敢要，她对她珍视的人好，却不敢投入，怕没人要，后来桑甜告诉她，你如果一直无所谓下去，你所珍视的只能离你越来越远。我也是一个像小夭相柳一样，看透世态炎凉的人，只不过看到这里，我更明白了努力争取。
看到最后，才发现它绝不苟同于其它言情小说，它更是部长篇史诗，缓缓道来一代人，一个故事，经过多年沉酵，散发着酒的甘冽与醇香，带给人心灵的沉静，慰我哀伤，敛我半世流离。
桐华这个作者我以前也曾关注过，是因为电视剧版的步步惊心，但我从未看懂过这部电视剧，也从未搞懂过若曦，可能是因为当时年纪小看不懂吧，但至今我还很喜欢玉兰花，喜欢若曦，只不过我再也没追过，这也是给青春留下美好遗憾吧。我也曾看过电视剧版的大漠谣，可能是因为年纪大了些，也大概懂了他们之间的情义。只不过后来的云中歌和那片星空那片海，我再没追过，就像是仙剑永远是仙剑，既然还原不了，也就不必再看，通过我朋友的推荐来看这本书，也希望最后如果有人要拿下版权，也请好好珍视，来自一个读者的惋叹。
最后还是想说说这个作者，感觉她超级棒了，是电视策划人，也是金融学家，还是北大学子，还是众多优秀电视剧与图书的获奖者，在读书届富豪榜上也是屈指可数的人物，只不过流言纷起，说她篡改历史，也不得不说她篡改很成功，成功把这些鲜活的人物印在了我的脑海里，读她的书，不仅是一种儿女情长，更是品位她对人生的睿智与通透，宛若一个老人将自己走过的路缓缓道来。
