我最喜欢的小动物是狗。不管是哪种狗，我都喜欢，因为我觉得狗是一种有灵性的、对人类最忠诚的动物。
记得外婆家曾养过一条狗，全身的毛灰灰的，我们便管它叫“小灰”。我对小灰有一种难以磨灭的.记忆。也许真的是我对小灰的感情特别深厚吧!每次我们到外婆家门口，只要我们把汽车一停 ，小灰听到汽车上锁的声音，就知道是我们来了。我一进门，小灰就摇着尾巴扑了上来，舔舔我的手，把我舔得痒痒的。当我们吃饭的时候，小灰就在桌子下钻来钻去，可怜巴巴地看着我，那眼神彷佛在说:“我也要吃!我也要吃!”尤其是在吃排骨时，香味扑鼻，我时不时都会偷偷摸摸地往地上仍几块肉!
有一天，不知谁家的狗走进了外婆家。小灰见了，眼睛紧盯着对方，竖起耳朵，耷拉下尾巴，如临大敌。那咄咄逼人的目光，似乎在训斥那不速之客，又好像在守卫着自己的地盘。还没等我唤住，小灰就和那条狗斗了起来。只见它抬起前腿，扑到那比它高一个头的大狗身上，张开嘴巴，去咬对方的脖颈。那大狗仗着身高的优势，一甩头就把小灰甩在地上。小灰不甘示弱，迅速爬起冲上去。看着小灰一副不要命的样子，我连忙唤住它，赶走那条大狗。可是小灰已经被咬出了血丝。看着它受伤的眼神，我的心里真不是滋味。
可好景不长，小灰只陪伴了我4年多，就突然离开了我。那天，我在外婆家过完生日后，要回家了，外婆送我到门口，也许是忘了关门，也许是小灰也想出来送我，从此，小灰就不见了。尽管我们找遍了所有地方，也等了很久，可是小灰一直没有回来过。妈妈肯定地说：“不会回来了，被坏人抓走，***了，卖了。”妈妈的话还没说完，我的眼泪就像流水一样哗哗地流了下来。我为小灰的不幸遭遇感到难过，但我更恨那些抓狗，***狗，卖狗肉的人。请你们不要再这样***狗了，要知道你们***的不仅仅是一条条无辜的狗，更是许许多多我们忠诚的伙伴，一条条鲜活的生命。当你们用一些药调好了和在狗粮中，让狗上当时，你们是否曾想过，狗是多么信任我们，相信我们人类是不会伤害它们，可谁知，你们却用狗对我们的信任而去伤害它们。如果再这样下去，迟早有一天，我们会失去人类最忠实的朋友，最忠诚的伙伴的。我多么希望人类的屠狗、吃狗的行为能早一点结束。

我喜欢的动物有很多，有小白兔、小猫、还有小金鱼……其中我最喜欢的小动物要数小狗了。
小狗的眼睛大大的，像一颗黑宝石，嘴巴小小的，耳朵大大的，像我们平常扇的小扇子一样，这只小狗非常可爱。
它有一个毛病，就是很爱挑食，每次我给小狗喂狗粮的时候，要是它饿了，他就把狗粮都吃掉，要是它不饿，就一口也不吃。我非常生气，一天也没给它喂狗粮，到了晚上，它说：“小主人，你快给我喂点食吧!我要是再不吃饭，就要饿死了。”我看着它那副可怜巴巴的样子，最后还是给它喂了一碗狗粮，看着它大口大口地吃起来，心想：“要是它每次都这样好好吃饭，不再挑食了。那该会有多好呀!”小狗好像看穿了我的心思，从此以后，它再也不挑食了，我高兴极了。
还有一次，小狗长大了，一岁的时候，我晚上睡觉，睡了一会，还没有完全睡着，只听“嘣”的一下，把我吓了一跳。我起来一看，原来是小狗从它的屋子里钻出来了，我赶快把它抱回屋子里，它晚上爬出来好几次。到了第二天早上，我去上学，感觉非常困，课都没听进去，晚上回来写作业时，我错题连篇，非常生气。
这就是我家的小狗，虽然它光挑食，但是它非常可爱，我很喜欢它。
