发达国家抓住了五百年前的地理大发现的机遇，掌控了海洋，进而一飞冲天，在全球范围内建立起资本主义市场，为本国聚集了大量的财富和先进的科学技术，拉开了与其他国家的差距。现在又是争夺天空和宇宙的时刻了，中国却不会再重蹈当年的覆辙了！
除此之外，蛟龙号载人潜水器下水又敲响了欢庆的锣鼓。从2009年至2012年，相继完成了1000米级、3000米级、5000米级和7000米级的`海试任务，最后在马里亚纳海沟创造了世界同类作业型潜水器最大下潜深度纪录。最近其更是在世界最深处下潜，潜航员在水底停留近9小时，作业时间达3小时。
捷报频传，不禁让人回想起一百年的中国，积贫积弱，又穷又破，如同被人宰割的羔羊，毫无还手之力。回想起南京大屠***中不幸遇难的中国同胞们，多少志士仁人为了祖国的强盛兢兢业业，不辞辛劳，甚至搭上了性命。他们临终遗言都是中国繁荣强盛日，家祭毋忘告乃翁。陆游没有等到南宋王朝的那一天，可是他们等到了，这一个个喜讯让人激动不已，见证了中国综合国力的提升、为我们展示了更加美好的未来。
今天的中国，已经不再是以前那个刀俎上鱼肉，任人宰割，不再是一个受人嘲笑的懦夫，我们要做自己的主人，我们要用自己的努力加实力，走中国特色社会主义道路，实现中华民族的伟大复兴，为了我们伟大的中国梦奋斗。我们要为创造一个富强，繁荣，昌盛的国家团结一心，共同努力。

My mother is the person I admire the most because she has the following good qualities. Firstly, she is a tolerant person. She will be tolerant to other people’s mistakes including mine.
When I make a mistake, she will let me know why I am wrong and how I am going to do to correct them, rather than simply punish me. Secondly, she is such a talented person who not only has great achievements in her work, but also can cook delicious food for my dad and me. Although she is very busy at her work, she still accompanies me see the film and go to parks on weekends.
