For Chinese, every terrible memory and unhappiness will be stopped at this night, and a splendid next year will also begin at here. 除夕，我和爸爸、妈妈一起到湛江一个很美丽的地方去。

远远地，我就看见对面有一片灿烂的灯光；稍近，就看到这片灯光倒映在水中，十分美丽。

我们沿着一条紧挨着海边的、长长的道路漫步，一阵海风吹来，凉飕飕的，我不禁打了一个寒战，把衣服裹紧了一些。尽管天气寒冷，但游人却很多，到处都充满了欢声笑语。

啊，好多灯呀！在一片宽阔的草地上，我看到了各式各样的灯，禁不住大喊起来。我拉着爸爸、妈妈走近去看，只见这些灯都是水果形状的，有雪梨灯、苹果灯、葡萄灯、香蕉灯雪梨灯是黄色的，苹果灯是红色的，葡萄灯的颜色和我们平时吃的葡萄一样，是紫红色的我们就像走进了水果园。咦！那又是什么？我眼前又出现了小猫灯、小狗灯、小兔灯、小鸡灯，还有老鼠灯哩！这些动物灯栩栩如生，漂亮极了。

我们继续前行，只见远处一片灯火辉煌。那是什么呀？我问爸爸。我们去看看吧！啊！原来那是一座人工猴山。只见山上有只大猴王，身穿雪白的上衣，黑色长裤，脚穿一双黑白相间的皮鞋，两手张开，好像在热情地欢迎客人。在它的周围，布满了许多姿态各异的小猴子，那些小猴子穿着不同颜色的服装，被打扮得十分漂亮、有趣。

大家知道这是哪里了吗？对了，这就是除夕的观海长廊。
