Elephant is the largest animal on land today. It weights some ninety kilograms and is about one metre high when born. When it is 12 years old, it studs over three meters and does not grow any more. Elephant is usually grey in color, having a long trunk with large ivory tusks protruding from each side of its mouth. Usually moving in groups and caring for each other, Elephant is know to be a very and gentle creamre. For many years people have used the strength of these poweful animals to move trees and heavy logs. Elephant has been and is a vital tool for people to do many things that would normally be imposs-ible. Elephant is and will continue to be one of the greatest creatures man has ever come into contact with. Its size. beauty, and power willforever be useful to man.

那天，我们的班主任张老师留了一项作业，让我们把所有的读书记录卡都交上去。天啊！我可没有天天写啊！我一共就写了八张，可我不敢说，说了大家也不会相信——学习成绩最好，从来不会完不成作业的崔贺尧也有没完成作业的时候？
我，怎么办？
放学回到家，我立刻开始狂补记录卡。我真的好沮丧，我还从来没有赶写过作业呢。补啊，补啊，也不知道补了好长时间，我终于把总数量补到了二十多张。我心想：“把这二十多张都交上去凑个数好了。”
第二天下午，张老师开始收读书记录卡了。她的“命令”下达了好一会儿，都没有一个人交。眼看着张老师已经开始发火了，我赶紧去拿自己的读书记录卡。什么？书包里没有？天啊，一定是早上忘了装进来！转念一想，没带就没带，能拖一天是一天吧。
陆陆续续地，有人开始交记录卡了。很明显，大家的数量都不合格，几乎每个人都缺了不少。张老师的火气越来越大了，我几乎看见一股又一股的白烟翻滚着从她的耳朵和鼻孔、嘴巴向外冒。我很想主动告诉张老师我没有带，可现在这种情况，谁会相信我的话？我已经迈出的脚不禁又缩了回去……
放学的时间到了，可张老师却丝毫没有让我们走的意思。她开始对我们进行严厉的思想教育。我越听越伤心：难道我们看书的成果只有那张纸能体现吗？我平时那么喜欢读书，也从书本中吸收了不少知识，难道这些收获都没有一张纸重要吗？那样例行公事式的记录卡又有什么意思呢？为什么一定要把读书这么好的事变成一种机械化的任务呢？我真的很困惑呀……

不再困惑，有梦。——题记
对于未来，我很迷惑，甚至于说，对于未来，我根本没想过。因为我害怕，害怕那红通通的成绩来决定我的未来，害怕那些恶狠狠的眼睛来指责我，害怕那重重的脚步声来压迫我。不过，面对着这些，我很欣慰，因为我还有我的母亲。而梦，不再迷惑了！
花开花落，该何去何从？
我即将成为一高一的学生了，面对那决定未来的中考，我想都没想过，也许我只是害怕，所以逃避。但现实终究还是现实，它还是会不断逼着你往前去，我只有奋起读书，考上好的高中，才算对得起自己，对得起父母。我的想法相比于刘禹锡“沉舟侧畔千帆过，病树前头万木春”的想法，实在是太过于消极了，但花开花落，我又该何去何从呢？
梦醒时分，垂死挣扎？
转眼，梦渐醒，睡眼朦胧的我始终不愿下床，突然恨自己的懦弱，恨梦的消逝，想着想着，却发现自己的脸早已被大片暖流包裹，动弹不得。原来是母亲的泪水，我坐在我身旁，悄悄流泪，期盼着我能快点病好，却不知自己的泪早已夹带着担心落满了我稚嫩的脸颊。我感觉母亲的心好冰冷，好无力，我这才知道自己曾经的叛逆会让母亲如此痛心。梦醒时分，垂死挣扎！
面对未来，不再困惑！
经历了这么多的苦难，我终于决心要学会成长，努力奋斗了。也许未来的路不太好走，但至少我还有母亲。母亲的泪水会为我抚平伤痛，母亲的微笑会为我带来力量，母亲的鼓励会为我增强信心。放心吧，母亲，面对未来，我已不再困惑！
梦醒了，我笑了。
