古尔邦节是穆斯林人们的盛大节日。
穆斯林人们以喜悦的情绪盼望一年一度的盛大节日古尔邦节的到来。节日来临前，穆斯林人们就开始打扫卫生，粉刷各自的庭院等，以崭新的面貌迎接节日的到来。各家的妇女们都忙着做馓子和各种糕点，而男人们忙着料理外面的各种准备工作，同时，全家人还要上街买新衣服，所有的人们都在为节日做充分的准备。节日的头一天，我们民族还有个讲究，就是拜访长辈、父母和兄弟姐妹，提前向他们送上节日的祝福。
古尔邦节的第一天早晨，大人们要做节日乃麻孜，做完礼拜后大家互相握手问候，回家后还要做一些古尔邦节的.善事，各家各户屠宰牛羊，但是这并不是为了吃肉或是过富足的日子，而是邀请来自7个贫困家庭的人们，请他们来品尝，这也是一种感恩，回报他人的表现。
穆斯林人们还是尊重长辈父母的民族，节日这天，晚辈们首先要到长辈家去拜年，祝愿长辈们健康平安。
