放学回到家并没有像以往那样收到爸爸妈妈早已经准备好的蛋糕，爸妈为考验我是否长大，要让我自己去蛋糕房预定，呵呵、这有什么难的、而且我自己还可以选购自己喜欢的蛋糕呢！妈妈话刚落音我就飞一般的`跑下了楼，一路上我在想我是卖喜羊羊蛋糕还是懒羊羊蛋糕呢、还是漂亮、还是可口的蛋糕呢？到了糕点房，哇，蛋糕的种类真多呀！比我想想中的还多呀，我挑来挑去眼睛都挑花了，最后我还是定一个我最喜欢的水果味的懒羊羊蛋糕，”准备交钱时候我突然被店里的一个印有红色捐赠的箱子给吸引了，里面被各种面额的钱币塞得满满的，原来箱子里的钱全是献爱心给灾区的小朋友捐款的，灾区的小朋友因为灾难现在没有钱上学，没有钱买衣服、没有钱吃东西、可怜及了……我脑海浮现出一幕幕这样的场面，就在这时我改变了主意，对糕点房的阿姨说，我不要蛋糕了，我把蛋糕钱毫不犹豫的投进了捐款箱、阿姨们见后直夸我是一个善良的孩子。
我空手回到家把整件事情告诉了爸爸妈妈、爸爸摸着我的头说，我们家的丫头真的长大懂事了，听了爸爸妈妈的话，我想到也为灾区的小朋友贡献了自己的力量，我心里比吃了蛋糕还要甜。我觉得这是我成长中最快乐的事情，也是我生日过的最有意义的一次。

My mum is not only a good teacher, but also a great mother. She is patient with me and always smiling while talking. I remember when I caught a fever at midnight last year, my mum took me to the hospital as fast as she could. When we got home after my injection, it was about 5 o’clock in the early morning. My mum only slept 2 hours because she had to wake up at 7 o’clock to prepare breakfast for me, and then she went to work. She must be very tired that day.
My mum is not very beautiful, but I admire and love her.

在我8岁那年的国庆节，妈妈高兴的对我讲：“明天姨妈和哥哥一起跟我们去公园坐船玩耍。”我一听这个消息，一蹦三尺高，这可是我老早就梦想的事情了，连晚上做梦都梦到坐船的经历呢！
第二天，我早早就起床了，全副武装了一番。哈哈！太阳婆婆也好像知道我今天有高兴的`事，也早早的升起来，温柔的看着我。一路上我蹦蹦跳跳的来到了湖边，挑了一艘蓝色的船，急不可待的上到船上。我问妈妈：“船会不会急拐弯，会把我们掉到水里吗？”妈妈讲：“不会的，不过你要扶好栏杆。”我的心里好像踹了几只活蹦乱跳的小兔一样，难以平静。船开了，开得越来越快，这时，我看见天像被蓝墨水染了一样，白云被风一吹，有时像可爱的小白兔，小绵羊，有时像小鸟裹着白色的衣服在蓝天中穿行。我又看见了那些高大挺拔的大树像士兵一样一个个在两侧站着，还看见那些小花、小草倒映在湖面上，像一幅栩栩如生的画。我被这迷人的景像迷住了，哥哥用手推醒了我。感觉非常凉爽，我叫哥哥站起来也感受感受。妈妈看见我们这样，突然把方向盘一打，给我们来了一个转弯，哎呀！把我们都吓得腿都软了，水花也溅到我们的衣服上，妈妈和姨妈都偷偷的笑了，我们也不禁哈哈大笑了起l来·······时间真快，20分钟过去了，我们回到起初坐船的地方。
这次，虽然是短短的20分钟，却让我感受到了蓝天、白云、大地原来是这么的美。我好喜欢坐船，下次如有机会我还要到大海上去坐船，肯定感受又是不一样的。

If I were a boy again, I would practice perseverance more often, and never give up a thing because it was or inconvenient. If we want light, we must conquer darkness. Perseverance can sometimes equal genius in its results. There are only two creatures, says a proverb, Who can surmount the pyramids — the eagle and the snail.
If I were a boy again, I would school myself into a habit of attention; I would let nothing come between me and the subject in hand. I would remember that a good skater never tries to skate in two directions at once.
The habit of attention becomes part of our life, if we begin early enough. I often hear grown up people say, I could not fix my attention on the sermon or book, although I wished to do so, and the reason is, the habit was not formed in youth.
If I were to live my life over again, I would pay more attention to the cultivation of the memory. I would strengthen that faculty by every possible means, and on every possible occasion. It takes a little hard work at first to remember things accurately; but memory soon helps itself, and gives very little trouble. It only needs early cultivation to become a power.
