事至今使我记忆犹新，那盏萝卜灯我也保存起来了。
那天，我和爸爸特意买了几个又粗又长的萝卜，用水洗干净，未等凉干，就迫不及待地制作起萝卜灯来：用小刀把萝卜切好、挖空，用铁丝拴好系在一根筷子上，倒入食用油并放入一条棉线作灯芯。这样，一个青凌凌的萝卜灯做成了。我得意洋洋地挑着萝卜灯满屋子里元宵节早已离我而去，但元宵节的那个故跑着玩，并央求妈妈为我点着。“那有大白天打灯的？先别急，等天黑了再点。”妈妈说着把灯夺了过去。
我盼啊盼啊，天总算盼黑了，我心花怒放地挑着萝卜灯跑下楼去。
大街上，有的挑着动物电池灯，有的挑着布做的电子灯，有的挑着会唱歌的音乐灯……只有我的灯是个老古董，是个地地道道的手工灯，是爸妈小时候玩的那种手工灯。听他们讲，以前每家的孩子都很多，生活很困难，没钱买灯，孩子们就用萝卜、白菜根自己制作他们心目中的元宵灯。元宵节的晚上，他们捧着自己心爱的元宵灯，拥上大街去展示，比比谁做的灯最漂亮。
今天，那种老式的煤油灯、蜡烛灯被多种多样的电子灯、电池灯、音乐灯所代替，我这样的萝卜灯更是无影无踪了。
我庆幸自己生长在这样一个日新月异的幸福年代，更庆幸自己处于好奇玩了回萝卜灯，并为爸妈找回儿时的记忆，使我也从中受到了教育。

今年元宵，我们吃过晚饭，来到了步行街上，欣赏休闲广场元宵节别具一格的夜景；观赏壮观的大场面；热热闹闹的元宵节表演。从步行街到广场的一路上，这里全部都灯火通明，美丽极了。在茂盛的松树与柏树上都挂满了五颜六色的彩灯，一闪又一闪，像眨着神秘眼睛的星星。这树上的每一片树叶在十万盏灯的照耀下，似乎都有一个新的生命在颤动，这充满了希望的树。在广场的入口处还挂着一排排的大红灯笼，为元宵节增加了色彩。这五颜六色的灯照耀着广场雄伟的建筑物，照耀着每一个人民的笑脸，使人心中感到亲切，感到光明，更感到温暖。
走进毛石市，又是一派热热闹闹的景象。这里已经是人山人海。这里的人群再加上灯光，壮观得真不知道用什么词语来形容了！这里人声鼎沸，美丽的景象让人看得眼花缭乱了。节目开始了，首先是秧鼓队的上场，她们用双手创作了一段有节奏的秧鼓，脸上都洋溢着节日的喜庆，美好极了。接着是八队跳摆手舞的表演者一拥而上，顿时填满了整个场面。她们动作优美，宛如一只翩翩起舞的花蝴蝶。最后是放礼花。只见五彩缤纷的礼花朵朵绽放，然后就星星点点地向大地扑来，好似一些希望的种子洒在大地上，迎接一希望的美好的未来！
啊！这个热热闹闹别具一格的元宵节真美好，它仿佛寄托了每个人的希望，向着美好的未来展翅飞翔！

突然，父亲跑过来催促着我赶快下楼放烟花。听见这话，我便来了劲，赶快“飞奔”下了楼。只见父亲母亲接二连三地从车库里搬出许多烟花，还不时在车库里察看还有没有剩余的。天，这可是把咱家的“财产”全部都“扛”出来了呀！这时，父亲拿出打火机，小心翼翼地点起了火，还用手在边上为打火机“掩护”着。“点着了！”父亲在远处朝我们大喊着。我与母亲此时都不约而同地仰望着天空。天空不时出现一个大礼花；不时出现红色、黄色、蓝色的流星雨；不时出现一个个排列整齐的小飞碟；不时又出现了一条条小鱼在天空中自由地遨游、玩耍……这些烟花使我看得眼花缭乱、目瞪口呆。这些美妙的景色是已经不能再用语言来形容了。
不一会儿，我上了楼，仔细欣赏CCTV元宵晚会的经典节目。这些节目中，小沈阳唱的《大海》令我开怀大笑；刘谦表演的魔术让我为他鼓掌，竖起了大拇指；他们都获得了春节联欢晚会节目的一等奖，让我也为他们而高兴与自豪吧！
