过年了，我家乡有一风俗——包饺子，吃饺子，今天，我们一家人就自己动手包饺子，并品尝自己包的饺子。
父亲喊道：“大厨，快来包饺子呀！”我一听就是叫我的，我赶快跑过去，父亲疑惑地问：“你来这干什么？快去学习！”我奇怪地问：“你不是叫我吗？”父亲哈哈大笑：“就你还大厨，自从你的面将军问世以后，再也没人敢让你包饺子了，***可是我们家的大厨。”我抬高声调：“今天你们再让我包几个试试，不行的话我以后再也不来捣乱了。”
终于开始包了，我不慌不忙，左手端着面皮，右手拿着筷子，小心翼翼地把馅放在皮上，最难得要数包了，我慢慢地捏，心里谨记着上次的教训，千万不能让馅掉，渐渐地，我头上开始冒汗了，眼睛紧盯着馅，将边角捏住，右手拇指向外轻推内侧皮，食指将外侧皮形成褶折，右手拇指将褶折捏紧，这样饺子就做好了。包好了饺子，母亲就把包好的饺子放在锅里煮。在饺子煮的时候，我们商议好了，自己吃自己包的饺子。饺子煮熟了，母亲一打开锅盖，肉馅的香味扑鼻而来，开始品尝了，不知道为什么，不管是包得像月牙的饺子，还是包得“皮开肉绽”的饺子，味道还是那样香美。
大家一边收看着春节联欢晚会，一边品尝着自己的劳动果实，心里怎能不高兴？春节怎能过得不快乐？
