周末,我最爱的一天。回到心爱的家,不必面对陌生复杂的目光拘束自己的行动,不必为算不清的小测验把自己弄得神经兮兮,更不必为未知的未来对着冷冷的书桌发呆。
周末,享受家的温暖。父母双亲有时见我捧着本言情小说,躺在床上一整天就会板起脸嗔我,于是嬉皮笑脸花上一点动夫,和他们打弯绕圈,搞得他们笑不起来又哭不得。
周末,和妹妹闹得天翻地覆,每次当了她的俘虏,便大叫“妈妈”把一肚子气整进她肚里,气得她直骂“笨蛋“。
周末,我最爱的时光。走进我的天地,享受家的爱抚,脱掉面具,还回自我。
A letter to my mother
Oct. 17th
Dear mother,
I have been good at school. I often think of you when I go to bed because we always go for a walk before go to bed at home. So I miss you everyday. Do you miss me? Why don’t you call me? I’ve got a lot of things to tell you. One of the things is about foreign teacher’s daughter. Her name’s Skyler. She lives in Canada. She comes to our class to learn Chinese and English with me in my class. This afternoon, when it was art and craft class, our class were cleaning the gymnasium. And she did it with us too. So I usually talk to her when she doesn’t know what to do? But when the class is over, I always haven’t got enough time to talk to her. And I usually can’t find her. So we don’t have time to introduce to each other. But it is the first time that I have a foreign student. So I’m very happy! Mum, you often tell me, “If you are happy, I’ll be happy, too.” So you have to be happy, because I’m happy! I like you when you are happy!

我妈妈喜欢烧菜。妈妈有空的时候,会给我和弟弟做好吃的饭菜。有她最拿手的.香喷喷的煎饺,有又麻又辣的干锅牛蛙,还有又香又脆的炸鸡腿,弟弟说比KFC的鸡腿还要好吃。
My mother likes cooking. When mum is free, she will cook delicious meals for my brother and me. There are her best fried dumplings, spicy dry pot bullfrogs and crispy fried chicken legs. My brother says they are better than KFC chicken legs.
妈妈特别善良。每次我们在街上碰到乞讨的人,妈妈都会拿出零钱给他们,并教育我要乐于助人。

妈妈说就我们两个人,炒一盘马铃薯就可以了。于是,在妈妈的指导下,我迅速刨了一个大的马铃薯,虽然刨的皮不是很干净,但妈妈说已经很好了,洗干净就行了。紧接着,我要将马铃薯切成细丝,“咣,咣,咣……”一口气切完了,天哪,这哪里丝,成了马铃薯条了,妈妈看着我的战果,笑了。“挺不错的,第一次能切成这样,很好啦!”正在这时,弟弟拉便便了,裤子也弄脏了,一点征兆都没有。我只好放下手中的活,去帮妈妈了。十几分钟后,等我再回到厨房,惊讶地发现黄色的马铃薯条已经变成了红色,过了一会,甚至变成了褐色,这让我大吃一惊。
我跑去问妈妈,“妈妈,马铃薯怎么变色了呀?”
妈妈看我一副好学的模样,语重心长地说:“因为马铃薯里含有淀粉,淀粉如果接触到空气就会氧化就会变色。而且当马铃薯削皮后,植物细胞中的酚类物质便在酚酶的作用下,与空气中的氧化合,产生大量的醌类物质。新生的醌类物质能使植物细胞迅速的`变成褐色,这种变化称为食物的酶促褐变。”
哦,原来是这么一回事啊!
妈妈又给我讲了好多关于马铃薯的知识,让我受益匪浅。我只知道,马铃薯就是我们常说的“土豆”,其实它还有很多亲昵的称呼:法国人称它为“地下苹果”;德国人称它为“地梨”;俄罗斯人称它为“第二面包”。在我国,马铃薯也有不少美称;东北人叫它“土豆”,西北人叫它“洋芋”,华北地区叫它“山药蛋”,江浙一带叫它“洋番芋”。原来生活中有这么多的科学,我立马来了兴趣,也不感觉饿了,就决定做一个实验,看看如何才能使土豆不变色。实验开始了,我先把一个土豆切成4份,一份用柠檬水泡着,一份用盐水泡着,有一份用糖水泡着,还有一份用冷水泡着,过20分钟,看看会发生什么变化。20分钟过去了,我一看,呀!在柠檬水、盐水、糖水、冷水里泡着的马铃薯都没有变色。看来,以后切开马铃薯都要放进水里泡着,不管什么水都可以,这样就可以避免马铃薯变色。
最后,妈妈趁着弟弟睡着后匆匆炒完菜,我们俩才算吃了顿午饭,吃完饭已经快两点了。
经过这一次体验生活,我明白了一个道理:生活中处处有科学,我们应该多观察、多发现、多研究,让我们和科学一起成长!
