这个暑假我来到了我国首都北京，长这么大，还没来过自己国家的首都呢。直到这一天，我真正的踏上这片土地时，才知道北京是有多么繁华和多姿多彩。
北京的\'早餐很有特色，咸豆花、小笼包、豆浆、牛肉饼……不仅美味，而且有着老北京独特的味道。第一站我们来到了北京钟楼和古楼，真的是古色古香，又陡又斜的楼梯看上去十分古老，镂空格灰色的楼梯边缘盖着一些些青苔。它们被保护的很好，而且被清扫得干干净净。登上了古楼的二楼，第一眼就看见了那口大钟，古铜色表面被擦的亮光闪闪，巨大的钟锤静静地横架在一旁。
第二天上午的故宫最令我难忘。旧时它被称为紫禁城，位于北京古城的中轴线中心，当然也是珍藏文物最多的一个博物馆。晨光斜照下来，折射在装饰的七彩琉璃瓦上，庄严而雄伟。我们从故宫的午门进入这座古老的皇城，午门前种有数棵松柏树，它们见证着岁月的变迁。我抚摸着曾经过历史磨练的墙壁，它们上面仿佛刻着字，看不见、摸不到，却饱含深意，古人用智慧建造起的每一块砖瓦、每一道宫门，瑰丽而令人流连忘返。
第三天，我们起了个大早，来到了位于北京怀柔区的慕田裕长城，它是中国古代的伟大工程，西起甘肃的嘉峪关，东到河北山海关，绵延千里。我们搭乘缆车登上了第一个垛口，只见一块块巨大的青灰色石砖组成了一条蜿蜒的巨龙匍匐在葱葱山岭上，每隔两百米左右就有一个垛口，用来躲避兵器、打击外敌的垛口四四方方的，一人多高的城墙坚不可摧，古人造出如此雄伟壮观的奇迹真令人惊叹！千百年风沙的覆盖，仍然掩饰不了长城的壮丽。它不仅是我国最重要的历史文物，而且已经成为我们中华民族的象征！我为它骄傲！
北京的魅力，只有当你真正踏上这片领域时，才能完整的感受到它充满活力而又古老典雅。北京，北京！
