两只小熊听了这话，都气呼呼地向家跑去。
它们一回到家，都向妈妈要吃的。妈妈就问："孩子们，你们怎么了？"两只小熊回答说："我们让狐狸分奶酪，可它却把奶酪全吃掉了。"说完，就大哭了起来。熊妈妈赶忙说："别哭了，妈妈给你们做奶酪，咱们以后不理狐狸了。"说完，熊妈妈就去给小熊哥俩做奶酪了。

两只小熊看到了狐狸，不耐烦地说："你是不是又想帮我们来分西瓜了？我们才不想让你把它全部吃掉，以后再也不会发生鹬蚌相争、渔翁得利的事儿了。"
狐狸听了，无言以对，只好灰溜溜地逃走了。两只小熊捧腹大笑，一边笑一边对狐狸的背影喊："我们哥儿俩可不是傻子，我们是吃一堑、长一智的熊。"说完，两只小熊就你一半我一半地吃完了这个又大又圆的西瓜。
而狐狸呢？从此再也不敢用花言巧语来欺骗熊哥儿俩了。
