时间与自由的英语作文【一】
自10月3日收到《爱与自由》以来，我翻看了其中大部分内容。不时对自己的教育行为进行比照。有时这种比照让我很心痛，是愧疚之痛。我对一些教育现象及其本质知道得太迟了。错过了多少教育时机，又造成了多少遗憾！比如昨晚看到的关于“神游”一节。“神游”指胡思乱想，想的跟做的不一样。这是心理障碍的表现：心里想做某件事，却受到压抑，不敢做，转而去做了另外一件事情，或者只是幻想、胡思乱想。这样的孩子何其多哉！昨天下午我带心悦去外边玩“钓鱼”游戏。有个男孩坐在那里用小鱼网捞鱼。他妈妈看见后迅速过来说，孩子，这鱼是让钓的，不能用手捞。说着，夺下男孩手里的鱼网，把一根鱼竿塞到孩子手里：你看，就这样，用鱼竿钓鱼。
那孩子自始至终脸上毫无表情，目光迷离。他的选择权被妈妈的好心剥夺了。他只是想用鱼网尝试一下，却被横加阻止了，而他的妈妈对此毫无知觉。我们玩了钓鱼以后去荡秋千。一个约5岁的小女孩正在荡，荡得很低。她妈妈显然对此很不满意，就口授“要领”：“宝贝，你把腿往前伸，然后往回缩；再往前伸，往后缩；再往前，再往后。”态度生硬，还有点漫不经心。那小女孩听了并没有多大反应，而是看了我们一眼。我感觉她的眼神里有一种难堪。在一个小妹妹面前被妈妈以教训的口气教授荡秋千，一定让她很伤自尊。经过一番指导，她荡得比刚才高一些了。又荡了没几下，她就跳下来走了。她根本没提起兴趣来。这位妈妈跟女儿说话的语气就像一位严厉的体育教练，不像一位母亲，生硬，没有感情，简直不顾及女儿的感受，甚至还因为女儿动作的不协调而嗤嗤笑了一下。而她的爸爸，就在一边玩跑步机，这一切似乎与他无关。说到父亲，我领着心悦在外面玩，见过好几个父亲，他们根本不管孩子，我是说，不教育孩子。虽然他们和孩子一起出来，但他们不跟孩子交流，不跟孩子一起玩，只是远远地坐在一边看着孩子玩，要么干脆望着别处。好像看孩子只是当妈的事情，他们不需要参与。也许他们认为，当爸爸的只要挣钱养家就够了。我怀疑，这是很多父亲的想法。我真替这样的人难过，他们把孩子带到这个世界上，却不愿意花时间和精力和孩子待在一起。他们没有意识到，父亲在子女的成长中起着不可替代的作用。虽然现在生活好多了，但是有多少人真正重视教育呢？学校里有不少孩子，明显缺乏家庭教育。他们对很多事情都不懂，没有规矩，不懂节制。他们的家庭背景，恐怕都相似吧。

一天我看到一篇题为《自由与生命》文章，这篇文章对我震动很大。
文中写到一只小画眉被抓住后关在笼子里。第二天小画眉鸟的妈妈就飞到笼子外面精心地喂养小画眉，就在我以为故事会有一个幸福的结局时，文中写道小画眉意外地死了！这怎么可能呢！？后来才知道，当一只成年画眉鸟发现自己的孩子被抓住之后，它居然会给小画眉足以致死的毒梅！因为母画眉似乎坚信孩子死了总比活着做囚徒好些！
那一刻我怔住了！动物对自由的理解是多么的深刻！我们可以阻挡动物生命的进程，但我们却无法消除自由对动物的重要！我想起山东老家的小麻雀就像文中的小画眉一样，虽然一个在北美一个在山东但它们同样用毒死、饿死的方式想表达或者想让我们知道的是：人生活的权力需要尊重；动物自由的权力更“须”要尊重！
在文中的小画眉死去的那一刻，我长大了。

读自由与生命这篇课文后，心情非常复杂。以前，我只认为只有到了快要死的时候生命才会结束。然而，却不只是只有这一种。读完了这篇文章，我才知道。原来，自由与生命也是造成死的结果。
自由与生命这篇短文主要讲了一个十二岁的小男孩在林间捕捉了一只小画眉鸟，将它放进笼子并准备让它一人为我歌唱。到了第二天，小画眉的妈妈喂了小画眉食物后，小画眉就死了。后来著名鸟类学家阿瑟。威利来看望家父时所说的一句话让我茅塞顿开的故事。只不过，那句话是：“当一只美洲母画眉鸟发现她的孩子被关进笼子后，就一定要喂小画眉足以致死的毒菌，她似乎坚信孩子死了总比活着做囚徒好些。
虽然本文的主人公领悟到了其中的真谛，可是，世界上还不是有许多这样为了自己而伤害动物生命的人吗？那不也是一种充满罪恶的.手段吗？想起我上小学一、二年级的时候，爷爷从老家给我带了两只小鸟。不幸的是，它们没过几天便死了。我看着空空的竹笼，便想让爸爸帮我捉两只鸟来养。结果还真捉了两只麻雀。只不过，没过几天，它们又死了。我的心非常不安，像被什么东西堵住了。
在我们的生活中还有许多这样的现象。有些动物明明不准猎养，可有些人为了钱，不怕受法律的惩罚，把一只又一只可爱的动物的皮拿去出售（贩）卖。还有一些小孩们为了快乐，把一只只活生生的动物给弄死，这不是让小孩儿变得更加残暴吗？大人们，请你们用善良的言行去教育孩子吧！
生命是宝贵的，生命是无价的，上帝只给天地万物一次生命，请大家好好爱护自己身边的每一个生命。

For thousands of years， animals have trodden a slow path， their spirits together with the body。 But our human being\'s transportation is too fast。 The body moves but the soul is left behind。 We try to free ourselves in convenience， but we only imprison the soul。 Since we invented how to count hours， we do everything to short the time， short the deadline。 But the time saved can\'t be shorten。 Nowadays， we spend lots of time staying in front of a TV just changing the channels， while we have no time to talk with a good friend or play with our family。 We have plenty of time to search old news on the internet， while we hardly think about our life。 In the end， the only thing apparent is our loneliness。
Take your time， please。 Try to follow the natural steps and have your own clock。 Try to share your time with everybody you love， share your mind， your happiness and sadness。 Try to read the world we live in， do not only catch a quick glimpse at the society。
Someday， when we know how to spend every second in our life， we can then live our own life。

Time flies like an arrow before we realize it .It is known that nothing is more precious than time. The good old proverb "time is money" reminds us that time is valuable. When time goes by, it will never return. However, it is a pity that some people don't make full use of their time .They spend a lot of time in sleeping, chatting, playing computer games or other unmeaning matters. . They don't realize that wasting time is actually equal to killing themselves. They always regret not having made great achievements. One of the reasons may be they do not make good use of time. Therefore, in order to be successful, they should first get into the habit of being on time. It’s a sign of cherishing time. Don't put off what can be done today until tomorrow. Being lazy will eventually lead to failure. Don't wait, because you don't know how long it will take when you put off your plan.
