One day, Paula and Richard decided to make a kite.
First they went out and found two straight sticks of the same length. They brought them back home and tied them with a piece of string into the shape of a cross. Then they took some string and used it to tie the four ends of the sticks together. Then, they spread some brightly coloured paper over the frame and glued it around the string.They stuck a tail made of paper to one of the corners, and tied a long string to the centre of the kite.
On the next windy day, they took the kite to a hill near their house and flew it.

晚上，我做了一个梦，梦见了28世纪90年代的杭州野生动物园。21世纪时，那儿曾是一个缤纷的'世界，有树，有花，有草，还有水，还有各种动物，当然也有来自各国的观光旅游的宾客。大自然中一个个和谐的场面，使在场的游客们纷纷拿起照相机拍摄，想把这美丽的一瞬间留住。28世纪90年代的今天，同样站在这里。却，诶有了鲜花，没有了草，只有一棵孤独的大树站在那儿，树上停着一只乌鸦。乌鸦窝里，有3只雏鸟，正嗷嗷练哺。大树的周围，是一个个被砍伐过的树桩。现在的大树，寂寞无风，只有一“群”孤独的鸟。
十五分钟后，树桩周围突然人头攒动。只见许多新闻记者们扛着摄象机，握着麦克风，争相拍摄。解读那棵世界上仅有的大树和树上那只世界唯一的鸟，这种场面真是闻所未闻，历史皆无。哎！孤独的树，孤独的鸟，原来“独木亦成林，独鸟亦成群”呀！
就在我迷糊之际，突然一群鸟叫惊醒了我。
我不禁立刻陷入了沉思：真是“旧时王谢堂前燕，飞入寻常百姓家”啊。

When I was in high school, one of my classmates sit right beside me. His name is ChenLiang. He is my unforgettable person in my life.
I remembered my mathematics was just mediocre at that time, but he was extraordinary and excellent in calculating and solving mathematic questions. He often received perfect scores. Of course, I wished I could reach at his level. Since we talked all day long, I asked how he could solve those difficult questions. He was so patient and polite to answer my sometimes ridiculous thinking. Gradually, I built my confidence at mathematics and finally passed the college entrance exam.
Now, we are apart, but I still remember his great attitude and willing in study. I am so obliged to my classmate, who is my friend always and forever.
