我们大家在学英语的同时。好像忘记了我们的母语。我们这中华民族五千年的悠久历史，老祖宗传下来的文化，魅力好像还抵不过一个“洋鬼子”说的“鬼话”是的，英语的确是国际通用语言。可是这就是我们要冷落我们伟大的母语的'原因吗？这原因是在不值一提。中文，是世界上能最清楚表达事物的语言，只改变语调，就能变换语义。中国的语言文字叫“汉字”，而英美的语言文字叫“单词”。
这就明显能体现出汉语的意思准确、精练。我本人是回族，但我并不讨厌“汉”语、“汉”话。相反，我却十分崇敬华夏文化，因为我是中国人。
但看现在世态，我们好像不该在打着中华民族的旗子，说我们是龙的传人了。外语肆意横行，把我们老祖宗留给我们的东西，推进了印度洋深处，实在可怕。我最后竭力大喊一句：“我们是中国人！！！”

每当我看见剪纸艺术家在一张张纸上飞快地挥舞着剪刀，创作者栩栩如生的作品时，我便不禁赞叹不已。
在我的语文书上，就有着四幅剪纸作品。 瞧瞧这四幅剪纸。每一幅上的人物，动物都惟妙惟肖。或与动物嬉戏，或翩翩起舞，或与伙伴互相帮助，或津津有味的读书，一副其乐融融的样子。
其中，我最喜欢的是翩翩起舞的一幅：一位十几岁的姑娘在花海里翩翩起舞。她身着少数民族的服装，跳着优美的民族舞，给人一种民族团结友爱的和谐气息。她的身后是一丛丛的蒲公英。一眼望去，无边无际，洁白如雪，仿佛给大地铺上了一层白色的绒毯。一副美不胜收的样子，使我不禁来到了想象的王国。
从前，有一位心地善良，富有爱心的壮族姑娘。她的名字叫做玛日娜，今年17岁了。玛日娜从小就熟读四书五经，她非常爱学习。玛日娜还是一个非常热情好客的人。她总是喜欢将天南海北的客人请到自家家里，为他们唱歌，请他们在自家吃饭，让客人们永远也忘不了壮族人民的热情。
回到现实的生活中，我不禁在一次对这幅剪纸作品啧啧赞叹。
这就是我国著名的民俗文化——剪纸。它是华夏广大劳动人民智慧的结晶。它处处都散发着华夏广大劳动人民团结，和谐的气息。

夕阳西下，我悠闲地望着那窗外蔚蓝的天空和有点儿泛红的云朵，好似天妈妈正在给云孩子们讲道理，云孩子们听了天妈妈的教诲脸都红了。这使我回忆起了半年前的那件令我后悔的事。
那是寒假的一天中午，我在床上剪纸。正剪得高兴，一不小心把床单剪坏了，床单上多了一个手指肚大小的洞。我望着那个洞，惊得张口结舌，心里忐忑不安。心想：要是把事情告诉爸爸妈妈，这顿美味的“竹笋烤肉”可就必吃无疑了，要不……，我眼珠子直转，想方设法，企图能免遭挨打。突然，我眼前一亮，一拍脑门，“有了!”
我把床单上的东西收拾好，然后把床单折起来，悄悄地藏在床底下，又从衣厨里拿出一条颜色、花样极为相似的床单，学着妈妈的样子把床单平平整整地铺在床上。我看着自己***“好事”，后悔极了，谁让我这么调皮，连剪纸都要往床上爬。
晚上，爸爸妈妈下班回到家，和往常一样。他们打开门，第一件事就问我：“今天乖不乖?”我支支吾吾的。妈妈见我不回答，严肃地说：“闯祸了吧!”“咋会呢?”我不承认。她听了，脸色多云转晴。我正在暗暗为自己的阴谋能得逞而庆幸时，爸爸问了句：“作业做完了吗?”“做完了，还剪了……”“还什么?”爸爸追问道。“没什么，还写了一篇。”吁……，好险!差点说漏嘴。
“你给我过来。”只听内屋传来了叫喊声，我跑去一看，糟了，正在擦地板的妈妈发现了床底下的床单。妈妈认真地问我怎么回事。我无奈之下只好把事情的经过一五一十地告诉了她。妈妈听了并没有骂我，也没有打我，只是告诉我：“生命不可能在谎言中开出灿烂的鲜花。”并要我做一个诚实的孩子。
这件事虽然已经过去半年了，但我却记忆犹新。妈妈的话至今在我耳边回响，教育我不说谎话，鞭策我不断进步，因为诚实是智慧之书的第一章。
