当一个人把买来的饮料喝完，手上只剩下一个空空如也的易拉罐，不同的人对待这个空罐子的态度也不尽相同。随性的人或许会选择将它随手往垃圾桶一扔，不拖泥带水；而懂得从中发现财富的人，或许会将它收集起来，一段时间后收集的数量够了，再到回收站卖个好价钱，既环保又攒钱，一举两得；而内心更富有创意，怀有更多奇思妙想的人，或许会将它做成一件创意品，甚至是令人叹为观止的艺术品，变废为宝，多么聪明！
可见，对待同一件物品，不同的人眼里也就具有不同的价值。我们判断一件物品的`价值不能简单地从客观上的高低定下结论，而是要善于发现，敢于创造，挖掘其中潜在的价值。同样的，这个道理对于人来说也是如此。俗话说：天生我才必有用。世界上从来没有出现过完全相同的两片叶子，也没有出现过完全相同的两个人，每个人生活在世上都有其存在的价值，都有自己独特的闪光点。哪怕是样貌完全相同的双胞胎，其思想和人格上必有差别；哪怕是一个才能平庸、毫无出众地方的人，亦或是身体上存在缺陷的人，只要保持一颗不断求取上进的心，自己的人生终究会得到他人的认可。

是金子总会发光。时间的无情流逝和人情的淡漠无法掩盖人们逆流而上的光辉，或许在下一秒，曾经人们口中的废物已站在风口浪尖，看世界风起云涌。在不同的时代背景下，人们判断“废物”的标准不同，总的来说，废物只是一片没有得到开发与利用的宝藏。所以，废物不废。
