母爱，多么像哺育我们成长的宁静港湾。母爱是纯洁的；母爱是无私的；母爱是伟大的；母爱是只知道给予而不企求回报的。母爱像春天的暖风，吹拂着你的心；母爱像绵绵细雨，轻轻拍打着你的脸面，滋润着你的心田；母爱像冬天的火炉，给你在严冬中营造暖人心意的阳光。人世间的儿女们，望着两鬓斑白的母亲，哪一个不辛酸至极呢？
恍惚中，我的思绪回到了童年。我看见一个忙碌的身影，那是母亲在辛勤工作；我看见一个疲惫的.身影，那是母亲在为我编织寒衣；我看见一个欢快的身影，那是母亲在为我学习进步而高兴。
细细回想，在我的生活中，哪一天又少了母亲的身影？每当我哭时，妈妈就安慰我；每当我感到像一只孤弱无助的小鸟时，妈妈就张开她那宽广的臂膀，给我温暖和爱的气息。
记得有一次，我在学校里感觉不适，我母亲正在上班，听到这个消息以后，我的母亲马上打车过来，将我接到医院，医生说我发烧了，而且烧得很厉害，要住院我母亲陪在床边，整夜为未眠，在病床旁便给我了无微不至的关怀。我的病好了，母亲的白发却增多了……
母爱是爱里面最伟大的一种。儿女是母亲用自己的爱浇灌而成的花草，儿女的成长离不开母亲的每一滴爱。母亲，一生为儿女护航，默默在儿女背后为儿女导引方向。
母亲对我们的爱，是我们所能报答得了的吗？母亲，像一堵墙，遮住了风雨，挡住了烈日，好让我们这些被风雨吹打的小树苗能茁壮成长；正如《游子吟》所言：谁言寸草心，报得三春晖。
