有个叫刘渊材的人，性情十分迂腐、古怪，又很爱虚荣。
他家里养着两只鹤，只要有客人来家中，他总是既神秘又故意张扬地对客人夸口说：
“我家养了两只鹤，这可不是一般的鹤，它们是真正的仙鹤呀！人家所有的禽鸟都是卵生的\'，我养的仙鹤可是胎生的。”
这一天，刘渊材家又来了几位客人，他把客人请进屋，一坐下便夸起他那两只“胎生”的仙鹤来。
刘渊材话还未说完，一仆人从后园跑来报告说：
“先生，咱家的鹤昨夜生了一个蛋，好大的蛋呀，跟大鸭梨一般大小呢。”
刘渊材的脸色立刻羞得通红，他觉得十分难堪。他斜着眼偷偷瞟了客人一下，对着仆人大声喝斥道：
“奴才胡说，你竟敢诽谤我的仙鹤呀！仙鹤怎么会生蛋呢？休要在此胡说八道！”
仆人只好没趣地走开了。几个客人站起身说：
“刘兄，难得您家养着仙鹤，让我们去看看，开开眼界吧。”
刘渊材只好带着客人一同到后园去观看仙鹤。
他们来到后园，只见其中一只“仙鹤”正将后腿张开，身体趴在地上。
客人们想叫仙鹤站起来，便用拐杖去吓它。不料，那鹤站起身来时，地上又留下了一枚鸭梨大的鹤蛋。
刘渊材的脸色涨得通红，他支支吾吾地自我解嘲，叹着气说：
“唉！没想到这仙鹤也会败坏仙道，和凡鸟一样了。”
其实，仙鹤只是传说中的鸟，平常我们养的鹤本来就是普通禽类，是卵生的。而这鹤的主人却偏要故弄玄虚，结果当众出丑，搞得十分难堪。

我站在残缺不齐的树林里。突然，一只狮子从树丛里蹦出来，说道：“快来参加我们的晚宴！”我很好奇，便跟着它走。一会，一个广场映入我的眼帘。那个广场上挤满了各种动物：老虎、熊猫、孔雀、企鹅……它们见狮子带我走来，自动分成两列，热烈欢迎我们的到来。我感到奇怪极了——动物怎么会欢迎人类的到来？
正百思不得其解时，“轰”的一声巨响，广场尽头突然打开了一道石门！我惊讶得说不出话来。狮子笑着解释道：“这是我们动物王国藏宝贝的地方，人类都不能进入。但你是我们今年挑出来的爱动物者，因此我们邀请和我们一起去享受晚宴！”我开心地点点头，就和它们一起来到了石洞里。石洞里有茂密的森林、温暖的太阳、潺潺的小溪、鲜艳的花朵等大自然拥有的美好的东西。“你不是说有宝贝吗？”我奇怪地问。“这清新的空气、舒适的环境，不就是我们最珍贵的宝贝了么？”惊讶的表情挪移到狮子的脸上。我恍然大悟，但继而是悲伤和沉思。
现在，动物的家园已经被人类伤害得遍体鳞伤，动物们的家园就只能隐藏在人类不知道的地方，让坚硬的石层保护自己的家园“零零零”我从梦中醒来……

我以前最讨厌狗，因为到静悄悄的夜晚就汪汪叫。烦人极了！但它也有可爱之处。

它的`吃相常常使我们发笑。先用鼻子闻闻然后再用舌头舔舔，有一次我把小饼干放在手心上，它退了一步，后脚一蹬，像离弦之箭一样跑了过来，把食物吞进了肚子里。
它的步态百分之百的可爱。走起路来，尾巴摇起来。有时候遇到小主人就跳起来，好像在说吉祥如意。但它永远不敢反抗狼狗。有时候却欺负最可爱刚出生的小狗。小狗越来越可爱，我也不再讨厌小狗。
