在一个炎热的夏天里，火辣辣的太阳不停地炙烤着大地。鸡热得耷拉着翅膀，狗热得吐出舌头，蝉热得不停地叫着“知了，知了”。我走在回家的路，一手拿着迷你电风扇，一手拿着冰激淋。忽然我看见路旁有一位清洁工阿姨正在扫地。我走了过去，问那位清洁阿姨：“阿姨，为什么那么热还在这里扫地啊?”我一边问一边想：这么炎热的天气，要是我的话，我早就回家开空调去了。那位清洁工阿姨回答我：“这是我的工作啊!我必须得把这份工作做好，这条公路那么脏，我怎么能不打扫呢?”这时我真正意识到：一个人，如果要做好一份工作，就因该勤勤恳恳地去做，无论途中有多少困难和搓折，都不能放弃。
一年多过去了，她无论刮风下雨，都会在有垃圾的地方清理垃圾。她是一位爱岗敬业的人，她是最令我敬佩的人!
