上个月我去北京看望我的一个朋友，因为我们有将近两年没见，而我刚好有假期。这是我第一次游览北京，这座全中国人都向往的城市。我对北京的.所以认知都来自电视和书本，而现在我有机会亲自来看这个城市、来了解她。我多么地兴奋！
There were so many tourist areas in my plan list, like Tian’anmen Square, Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Perking University and so on. However, due to my short holiday I only visit several places of my list, with my friend’s companion. I will take a long tour to Beijing next time if I have the chance.
在我的旅游计划表上，我罗列许多要去的地方，如天安门广场，紫禁城，长城，北京大学等等。然而由于假期太短，朋友只陪我参观了计划表上的几个地方而已。如果有机会，我下次一定会到这来个长期旅游。

哥哥身着棕红色的棉袄，戴着厚厚的棉帽，下穿宝蓝色的棉裤，背着绿色的背包，脚穿黑色棉鞋。我穿着粉红色棉袄，戴上镶着白色绒毛的连衣帽，下穿紫色棉裤，脚穿棕色棉鞋，背着黄色的背包。哥哥戴上蓝色手套，我戴上绿色手套。牵着手出发了。
南极仿佛是个银白色的世界，不仅寒冷，而且人烟稀少。呈现在我们眼前的是厚厚的冰层，常年不化的冰山。湖面上飘着许多大块的浮冰。哥哥和我小心翼翼的`走在随时可能断裂的冰层上。来到了企鹅嬉戏的地方。它们背部从头到尾和两个前鳍呈黑色，长着白色的肚皮。尖尖地嘴巴和大大的鸭子脚呈深黄色，大大的眼睛注视着我们，它们对我们既不陌生，也不害怕。有的企鹅像游泳健将在水里嬉戏，好像迎接我们的到来;有的企鹅在捕食，显示他们的本领;有的企鹅在打盹儿;有的企鹅挺着肚子互相追逐。眼前的一切既让我好奇又让我兴奋。
当我们要离开的时候。企鹅妈妈带着企鹅宝宝来到我们面前，伸出它们的左前鳍，向我们道别。我和哥哥伸手握着它的前鳍，开心的笑了。同时，岸上的企鹅仰着头高声鸣叫，仿佛在为我们祝福“一路平安”。
当我们依依不舍的离开时，一阵闹铃声，把我从“南极”梦中惊醒。
南极是个环境洁净的地方。我仿佛身临其境，宁静中透发着勃勃生机，让我流连忘返。那种人与自然，人与动物之间不言而喻的情感交流是无法用语言来形容的，我发自内心的一句话：“我爱大自然，我更爱南极，到南极旅游是我最大的梦想。”

On summer holiday my parents took me to Beijing. We stayed at Huabei Hotel. On the first day, we went to the Great Wall. The Great Wall is very long and old. It has millions of bricks. Each brick is very big and heavy. Lots of people from different countries like climbing the Great Wall. We felt very tired when we climbed to the top of the Great Wall.
We also went to the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces. It has a very long history. I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum. What nice palaces these are! I visited the Palace Museum and felt excited. If you want to know more about the Palace Museum, you can go to Beijing and have a look. The following days, we went to the Summer Palace, Tian Tan, North Lake and Xiang Hill. I now know more about the history of China. I also like modern Beijing. The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing.
Later, I went back with my parents by train. I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing. I like this trip!
