在我看来颜值并没有那么重要，并不是我自己长得不漂亮我才这样想的。我的五官很普通不至于让人辣眼睛，可是却也毫无闪光点。还有我的牙齿门牙很大，笑起来一点也不好看。所以我总是会用笑不漏齿来掩饰我牙齿不好看。当然，我也曾经因为我的面貌而困扰过。毕竟爱美之心人人都有，特别是在才踏入青春时期的那会儿，那时相貌普通对于我来说简直就是一种灾难。当时我挺羡慕学校和班上那些长得漂亮的人。并不是因为他们有多受关注，身边围绕着多少人，而是我觉得他们做什么事情都是美好的，因为在我眼里，在最美好的年纪就应该有一副最美好的容颜去做任何事情。当时我甚至还幻想，如果我有朵七色花就好了，那么我愿意用一朵七色花，来交换我的七个愿望，那么我的七个愿望都是希望自己能变漂亮。可是，现实世界和童话世界总是背道而驰的。所以那个时候我活的非常没有自信。直到有一天我被我的班主任改变了。我的初中班主任就是我们的语文老师，考过试或者是每次写的时候，老师总是会念作文写得好的人的作为大家的范文。我很幸运的是那些范文里也有我作文的踪迹。很巧的是我写的作文内容就是关于颜值方面的。我初中时写作文的风格是比较偏于朦胧，不会像现在这么说话这么直白，所以当时对颜值不满表达的也不是那么的明显。可是老师还是看出来了，我作文的深意不愧是老师。她当着全班同学的面毫不吝啬的赞扬了我很多遍。最后还鼓励我说一个人最重要的不是外表，而是内涵。一个人美丽的容貌会随着时间的推移而逝去，但是内涵是永远存在的。并不是因为她鼓励了我，我才有自信的。是因为从前就没有人夸奖我。而他对我的夸奖，让我明白人不一定只有外表能看到。外表意外的还是会被看到的.。所以从那以后，我改变了自己的观念，一个人在最美好的年纪里，不一定要拥有最美好的容颜才是最美好的事情，除了美丽的容颜以外，还有很多美好的事情等着我们在美好的年纪里发生。
而现在我又听到了很多关于颜值的问题就是要有美丽的外貌，才能被自己所心爱的人注意到。我也比较喜欢这样的一个回答：外在决定两个人是否在一起，内在决定两个人在一起多久。事实有时这样的，美丽的外在，看多了就会烦，所以真正能让两个人长久的是内在的东西。
真正的美不在于颜值有多高，而是自己活成一个什么样子。我觉得我现在的颜值依旧那么普通，可是我不会为了我的容貌去做任何改变，不化妆也不整容。我觉得活出真实的我，在我眼中就是最美的样子。不管一个年轻的容颜曾经被多少人爱慕，可是还是必须接受岁月的无情变迁。对颜值高低没有一个标准能去评判，只要活出自己心中最美的样子就好。
