凤凰卫视“沙漠之旅”要去找一位治沙的维吾尔族老人，看着电视中迅速后移的沙丘，看着满天肆无忌惮的.黄沙，看着这首次使我感到恐惧的黄颜色，身在世外的我，已觉嗓子干涸，全身凝固了。车子继续前进，过了片片沙漠，下了依着戈壁修建的盘山公路，他们到了一座村庄。没想，老人天蒙蒙亮的时候已经动身去沙漠深处了。于是，一行人又驱车去追寻老人。不顺利的是，越野车行在沙漠时，后轮胎陷进了沙子里。在一帮城里的年轻力壮的小伙子手足无措时，一个老人走过来，拿了铁锹说：“你们不会，都到一边去，我来。”就看老人一铲一铲把车胎周围的沙子移走，不说话，力气很足。众人后来才知，这就是他们要找的维吾尔族老人。老人今年已89岁了。老人引领着他们来到他工作的地方，我终于看到了久违的绿。老人卖了所有的家当，买了树苗，买了工具，来到这深漠之中，一住就是几个月。需要的水是儿子儿媳定期从村里一桶桶运来的。老人骄傲地带众人参观他的居所，那是在一座较为坚固的小沙石山下
凿成的洞，洞里有一张桌子，一张煤油灯和一张薄板木床。老人说，因为沙漠的特殊气候，刚栽下的小树苗就会立刻：被沙子埋没或被狂风卷走，所以必须在这几日夜监视。
老人89岁，已连续治了六年的沙。老人很开朗，也很朴实，他不会大讲特讲环境保护和沙化危机。可是，老人在沙漠中居住了一辈子，在勤肯的、不言放弃的劳动着，老人把自己的生命奉献给沙漠的绿化，老人要求他的子孙继续这项事业。
大自然是彩色的，它拥有五彩斑斓。大自然是丰富的，伟大之处在于，它不只有小桥流水，巍峨群山；它更加拥有千里冰川，茫茫沙漠。
大自然是伟大的，它哺育世间万生，主宰生存灭亡。
大自然中的人也是伟大的，他们承受，并勇敢迎接这大自然的安排。

Of course, I wished I could reach at his level. Since we talked all day long, I asked how he could solve those difficult questions. He was so patient and polite to answer my sometimes ridiculous thinking. Gradually, I built my confidence at mathematics and finally passed the college entrance exam.
Now, we are apart, but I still remember his great attitude and willing in study. I am so obliged to my classmate, who is my friend always and forever.
