But it takes time and costs money to keep the cat. My parents and I spend much time taking care of it, feeding it and cleaning it. We have to clean the house from time to time, or the cat will make them dirty and smelly.

“我很丑”，这是我给自我下的定义，也是对自我的认识。然后所以我只能以一个简陋的花盆为家，在黑暗的角落里生活。
在这之前，我一向和其他花儿一齐摆在花架上供人们挑选。那些花儿有的妩媚动人；有的飒爽英姿；有的可爱婉约；散发着迷人的香气，散发的清新的芬芳。用自我优美的花枝显示自我的生机勃勃。。。。。而我呢，什么都没有，有的只是一个滚圆圆的身体和满身的刺——我只是一株仙人掌。
看着伙伴们一个个离开了，羡慕极了。因为我很丑，没有人喜爱我。最后有一天我被放到了角落里，看着阳光理我越来越远，我的心碎了。我决定放下自我。
“我能够买它吗？”“你想要就拿走吧，反正也没人要。”之后一双手碰醒了正在昏睡的我。“真可怜”。然后我被带走了。
我的新家依然很简陋，是一个很拥挤的小房子，里面只有一些陈旧的家具。我被放到靠窗的小桌子上。旁边有一本书。“以后就我们俩做伴了，你虽然不漂亮，然后但生命力顽强。我很佩服你，听别人说你开花时光虽短，可是很漂亮。我们一齐加油，你开花的那天，就是我恢复健康的日子。“主人对我说。
我感到阳光照在我身上，我能够开花吗？我也能够美丽吗？于是我相信他。开始从土壤中使劲吸收营养。我一天天的健康起来，他也一天天的康复起来，也许是受了我的影响。我找到了我的价值，找到了生长的力量。
日子一天天从我身边滑过。
我感到身体里有一股压抑已久的力量。最后，在这天，我把他释放出来，生成一朵白色的小花，它并不漂亮，与我过去的同伴相比相差甚远，可是我不再难过了。
