七位首发歌手包括唱作才子毛不易，唱作妖星华晨宇，最美声线周深以及雨神萧敬腾，这四人可以算作国内歌手新声代中的佼佼者了。
另外则有三位女歌手徐佳莹，米希亚和袁娅维，也是实力不俗，米希亚更是在日本素有歌姬之称。
歌手引入奇袭赛制，意思是除了七位首发歌手，还会有三位攻擂歌手，攻擂歌手可以任意选择一位首发歌手作为对手PK，如果得票高则取代所挑战首发歌手位置，可以说，这样的赛制还是比较刺激和残酷的。
第一期，毛不易便被奇袭歌手盯上，盯上他的正是有着不俗唱功的黄霄云。
黄霄云就读中央音乐学院，曾参加过中国好声音第四季并取得了不错的成绩，实力还是得到过认可的。
本来，作为主打“当打之年”主题的歌手20xx，自然是为了鼓励年轻歌手和新人歌手敢想敢打敢拼。
奇袭歌手无论选择首发歌手中的谁都无可厚非，毕竟，首发歌手多数都是江湖成名人物甚至一方大佬，当打是可以当打，你挑战实力强大的大佬，大家也只会佩服你的勇气，而如果避重就轻选择自己认为实力可能偏弱的大佬，这也是遵守比赛规则，不会有人鸡蛋里挑骨头。
可惜的是，黄霄云小朋友却在奇袭路上犯了众怒，为什么呢?
黄霄云在节目中毫不掩饰自己就是奔着毛不易去的，这种毫不避讳，没有一点尊重前辈的表现立刻引发网友不满，虽然节目是当打之年，但意思也是指新人可以张扬，可以勇于挑战，这应该是指的比赛本身吧，而不是让你在比赛还没看开始之前就肆无忌惮，一点也不懂得谦虚。
舞台上可以为所欲为，释放能量，尽情地展现自我，但舞台下起码的对人的尊重要有吧，特别是作为新人或者后起之秀，最重要的礼貌与谦虚必须保持。
果然，黄霄云这种没礼貌的说话遭到了许多网友抵制，甚至有人骂黄霄云情商低，过分炫技，却唱得毫无感情。
甚至有网友直接指出，黄霄云的吃相未免太难看，黄霄云说的话暴露了其真实的内心想法，她一开始就已经衡量过7位首发歌手的实力，相比来说，显然毛不易是她认为最有把握挑战成功的一位。
不管自己实力如何，多么有自信，作为后学和晚辈，在公众场合面对江湖前辈和大佬，再怎么也该保持礼貌和谦逊吧，直言不讳地暴露自己目的，这吃相的确有点难看了。
尽管黄霄云成功淘汰了毛不易，但她在舞台之下的冲动，张扬和“童言无忌”，都成为了她的减分项。
