in my life i have met many people who are really worth recalling. but perhaps the most unforgettable person i ever know is my english teacher. what frequently brings back memories of my school teacher is his special qualities. first of all, he gave us the greatest gift a teacher can offer—an awakening of a passion for learning. he not only led us to an appreciation of the beauty and perfection of english language and literature, but also aroused our great interest in explorating something deeper in this field. second, i was attracted by his lively wit. i remember that we students always anticipated his class with great eagerness because his lecture were humorously delivered, never failing to provoke chuckles or loud laughs. although it is nearly two years since i attended his last class, he is the talk of our old classmates, and i know part of him has already stayed in my heart.

盼星星，盼月亮，总算把我日思夜想的雪给盼来了。
睡梦中，我就感到一股凉气，睁开眼睛，只见窗外白茫茫一片。不会下雪了吧，我欣喜地想到。顿时，我感觉心跳加速，来不及穿上衣服，就跳下床，向窗外眺望，天哪，真的是雪!我立即已迅雷不及掩耳之势穿上衣服，把爸爸妈妈摇醒，告诉他们这个喜讯。
吃完饭，我跑到楼上的露天阳台上，打开门，我被眼前的景象惊呆了：地上的雪厚的我一脚下去踩不着地，我只好装备雨靴，来到这白雪皑皑的世界。首先，我想到了堆雪人，我便把许多雪块堆在一起，可是堆来堆去还是那么一小层，我并不气馁，在互联网上找到了正确的方法：先捏一个小雪球，再放到雪地里一直滚，就可以做成一个大雪球了。可是在我滚雪球的时候，并不这么顺利，才滚了一会儿，我就感觉力不从心了，只是觉得雪球越来越重，已经超过了我所能承受的范围，我的手上越来越没劲，有一次，我用尽全身的力气，想把雪球翻个身，但此时的雪球似乎已有千斤重，我的脸颊便和大雪球来了个亲密接触，真是透心凉啊!没办法，这能弄这么大了。下一步是做眼睛鼻子嘴巴了。我找来两个大核桃核，镶嵌在雪人的脸上，又在鼻子哪里***跟螺丝，再把一个水桶扣在雪人头上，一个完整的雪人就做好了。
望着我费尽心血才搭成的雪人，我心里简直比吃了蜜还甜。

One day, Paula and Richard decided to make a kite.
First they went out and found two straight sticks of the same length. They brought them back home and tied them with a piece of string into the shape of a cross. Then they took some string and used it to tie the four ends of the sticks together. Then, they spread some brightly coloured paper over the frame and glued it around the string.They stuck a tail made of paper to one of the corners, and tied a long string to the centre of the kite.
On the next windy day, they took the kite to a hill near their house and flew it.

我的重要时刻，要从小学六年级说起。

听到这句话时，我心动了，却又犹豫了，心动的是写作文大赛，犹豫的是我的写作功底。
正在犹豫之时，老师已经走出了班级，我想我应该是想要参加的吧。
在我心上吃鸡学校的广播想起了一句话：不是所有的坚持都有结果，但总有一些坚持能从冰封的土地里培育出十万朵盛放的蔷薇。
虽然想去确定应该是想要是，一是如果不去，岂不是与一次机会擦肩而过?
于是，我走进了办公室，向老师要了那份报名表，从此我的读书之路便开始了。
我找到了我能找到的所有好词，好句，古诗，关于写作技巧的书籍。为写作大赛做积累，看了一遍又一遍古诗不懂的字词意思一句一句的查询。就这样，写作大赛在这忙碌之中如期举行了。
走进考场，审阅题目，作文的题目是《青春与梦想》伴着一丝紧张，时间飞速逝去。
“本场比赛结束请各位考生放下笔，提交作文稿。 ”
就这样，作文交了上去，心中四排马奔腾，期盼着比赛结果。
两天后……
老师拿着我获得的荣誉证书向我走来，我心中无比激动，紧张。打开它，第三名，虽然只获得第三名但对于我来说拿到它的那一刻，是如此重要。我感谢当时勇敢的自己，要了那份报名表，也该写曾经努力的'自己，让自己不留遗憾。
最后我想说：“每一次风雨兼程，未必彩霞满天，每一次翻山越岭，未必春暖花开，但我们总要努力一把，只有这样，才不会辜负我们沉潜的力量”即使这次不会获得奖状，我依然会面带微笑，因为我不曾后悔过。

I remembered my mathematics was just mediocre at that time, but he was extraordinary and excellent in calculating and solving mathematic questions. He often received perfect scores. Of course, I wished I could reach at his level. Since we talked all day long, I asked how he could solve those difficult questions. He was so patient and polite to answer my sometimes ridiculous thinking. Gradually, I built my confidence at mathematics and finally passed the college entrance exam.
