Please accept my resignation as associate chemist at the GERT Institute. I plan to leave my job here on September 30, 19–, taking a few days of annual leave just prior to that effective date. As you know, my primary interest has been in the oil and gas industry. Therefore, I’ve accepted a position with Fury Refining, Inc., that should put me back in touch with my “first love.” Although I’m eager to accept the challenges in this new position, I regret leaving the institute. You and the organization as a whole have treated me very well over the past three years. I won’t forget the friendship and professional growth I’ve experienced as an employee here. 我与爸爸来到河边，河水仍与以往一样清澈，我不敢直接跳下去，生怕沉入水底。我小心翼翼的挪动着，硬要爸爸把我拉下水。我的心砰砰跳个不停，啊！刚下水我瞬间就沉到了头部，爸爸一把拎起我，我心想，要是我能仰在水面就好了。爸爸好像看透了我的心思，笑了笑，亲切的说：“想要仰在水上不沉下去，脚就必须得动，就像立定跳远快要起跳的那个样子“，我半信半疑，迫不及待的想试一试，还没来得及动，我就沉了下去，我吓得目瞪口呆，不知道干什么，爸爸又向我那样把我拎起，我回想着立定跳远，只见我的.左手往前一伸，猛的搭下去，接着往后推，没等右手碰到水面，就溅起了一个水花，我的眼睛睁不开了，尽管如此我还是像青蛙一样跳着，停都不敢停，我的鼻子酸的不得了，我脚一次比一次快，我心想：爸爸怎么还不来救我，我想到这里我告诉自己，就算爸爸不来救我，我也得自救，于是我学着狗爬的样子拼命的挣扎着。
我睁开眼睛一看，我心奋的不得了，原来我没有沉下去，我不需要救生衣也会游，正在此时，因为我的脚停止了“工作“一下子沉了下去。我心想：游泳竟是如此简单。
