无数个学生，背着沉甸甸的满载希望的书包，脚下迈着自信的步伐，以崭新的飒爽英姿踏进久违的校门，踏进一个充满未知数的新学期，开始一段同样充满未知数的崭新生活。
告别了漫长的酷暑，也同样告别了漫长的暑假，就好似翻过一张书页。这是张奇妙书页，记述了不少故事。然而，故事再多，总也不过是一个过渡段，衔接着上学期的历史与新学期的未知。如果要用一个词语来形容这个假期，我想说，这是一个紫薇班的假期。七月初至，迎来了暑假也迎来了紫薇花开。而现在，已然开徐了，而枝头的紫薇也已凋零。在这个流逝多个日子里，时光，就仿佛这一朵朵花，看似相同，实则不同。每一朵花，都有着各异的姿态，有着各异的心情。如今，花已谢，再不复返，而树梢依旧挂着一颗颗果实。是的，九月，这注定是一个没有艳丽花朵的季节，它没有太多的华丽，没有太多的艳俗，然而，在这样的季节里，我们又为何一定要追求华丽与艳俗呢？在属于果实的季节里，我们也应当收货属于自己的果实。
初二，这是一个新的.旅程，从初一到初二，不是多了一横那么简单，我们面临着新的挑战，新的冲刺，新的欢笑。新的泪水。在这当中，有成功，也必然有失败，我们都需要一一面对。
现在，我坐在教室里，弥漫的是知识的芬芳，嘀嗒的是时间的流淌。秋日的阳光从窗外照进来，照在每一个坚定、执着的脸庞上。
新学期如约而至，我向她挥了挥手。她笑了。
我知道，接下来等待着我的是新学期与我长达四个月的陪伴。而我会一直一直坚定的走下去，走向一个理想的未来。

今天，是开学的第一天．天气晴朗，阳光明媚，风和日丽，一阵清香扑鼻而来，使人心旷神怡．蔚蓝的天空中漂浮着一朵朵宛如棉花的白云，金色的阳光洒满大地。
同学们像一群活泼可爱的小鸟，兴高采烈地飞近那美丽，熟悉，温馨的校园，飞近那宽敞，明亮，的教室里．都纷纷找自己的好朋友聊天，谈话．毕竟两个月没见了，肯地定有很多话要说。
小部分的同学都在说暑假去了哪里，有什么惊心动魄的事，还是欣赏了什么奇观等等．可是大部分的同学在讨论说：＂班主任和数学老师换不换．＂同学都疑惑不解．可有些同学知道班主任要换一个男的老师．又有一些同学说要换一个女老师，他们争来争去，不知道应该相信谁才好．过了好一会儿，有一位男老师进了我的教室，同学们一下子鸦雀无声，男同学都满面春风，而女同学却提心吊胆．男同学高兴的是班主任是他们的同胞，女同学紧张的是男老师会不会很凶，只会帮男同学。
那位男老师说话了，首先说这个学年会担任我们班的班主任，然后把新插班的同学介绍了一遍，最后让我们猜一个字谜，这个谜底就是他的姓．字谜是：有水，有田，有禾就有米．有些同学一下子就想出来了，是潘字．所以这位男老师就是潘老师。
潘老师让我们猜他的年龄，身高，体重．我们班的同学经过一番仔细观察，猜到了潘老师的年龄是三十八岁，身高一米七零，体重是一百四十斤．潘老师的身高，体重都和航天英雄扬利伟相仿．在讨论和猜测的过程中，潘老师根本不是用武力去解决问题的`老师，而是很和蔼可亲，在讨论中我们就像在和很熟悉的朋友聊天，他凡事都讲一个＂道＂字，他的道理讲得很透彻，很明白，能让同学们心服口服，我心目中的好老师就是这样的，我真高兴他能当我们班的班主任，能跟我们一起学习，一起成长。
这，就是开学的第一天，我非常开心，因为我可以认识到潘老师，他能当我们的班主任，我真高兴啊！

the summer vacation had come round again. i was happy that i could forget about school at least for a while. lest i fool around all through this summer vacation, i made a plan as to how to spend it. first, i thought i should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that i could have a better understanding of them.
then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time. i did, because i lived up to what i had planned.

summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.
