I have a cat named Mimi. Its hair is as white as snow. I often play games with it. It amuses me a lot and I treat it as a little friend. Every morning, I would say goodbye to it before I go to school and Mimi would wave its front-legs to me. It brings me a lot of pleasure.
But it takes time and costs money to keep the cat. My parents and I spend much time taking care of it, feeding it and cleaning it. We have to clean the house from time to time, or the cat will make them dirty and smelly.

“说它是头牛，无法来耕地；说它力气小，却能背屋跑。”你们猜，这个谜语的谜底是什么呢？对了，是小蜗牛！最近，王老师让我们养小蜗牛，我可带劲了！我给小蜗牛做个家吧！我先拿来一个塑料的金鱼箱，再往箱子里倒上一层粗砂，接着铺上一层潮湿的土壤，又放了一片菜叶。这样，蜗牛就有舒适的窝了。我想，蜗牛肯定会喜欢这里的。最后，我去菜地抓蜗牛了。一只，两只，三只……我抓得不亦乐乎。我小心翼翼地将小蜗牛们一一放进它们的家，就可以饲养蜗牛啦！
小蜗牛可有趣了。它居然背着“房车”——就是那棕色的壳，壳上还有黑色的条纹。要是里面放一把椅子，一张桌子，让我坐在里面，那就太酷了！它有两对小巧玲珑的触角，一对长，一对短，长的触角上还有小小的眼睛，似乎在洞察周围的一切。如果你用铅笔碰一下它，它一定会以迅雷不及掩耳之势缩回去，说不定还会把整个软绵绵的身子缩进壳里去呢！原来，小蜗牛的“房车”是它的安全堡垒啊，可以让它自己躲避危险。
这几天，小蜗牛成了我最好的伙伴。我给它们喂食，什么菜叶啦，面包啦，它们总是吃得津津有味。我还给蜗牛洗澡呢！有一次，我帮蜗牛洗澡时，一不小心将其中一只蜗牛的'壳给弄破了。我焦急万分：这可怎么办呢？蜗牛会不会死掉呢？我小心谨慎地将它放回窝内，忐忑不安地等待着奇迹的出现。几天以后，我再去看蜗牛。咦！那只蜗牛的破壳居然完好无损了。我很奇怪，上网查了才知道：原来蜗牛能分泌一种粘液，那种粘液可以修复蜗牛的壳。呀！真是太神奇，太有趣了！
不过，有时我在想，小小的蜗牛整天背着大大的“房车”不累吗？“啊门啊前一棵葡萄树，啊嫩啊绿它才刚发芽，蜗牛背着那重重的壳呀，一步一步地往上爬……”耳边响起了这动听的歌声。是啊，小蜗牛都不怕背上沉重的负担，努力向上爬，那我有什么理由说作业多，读书累呢？我应该学习小蜗牛，克服困难，一步一步向前走！

蜗牛的背上驮着一座房子似的硬壳，脑袋随时可以缩进壳里，非常惹人喜爱。它的头上有两对触角，高高的翘起来的那一对，顶尖上有两个小鼓包，那就是它的眼睛。我仔细观察，发现它先伸出触角，再睁开眼睛，要缩回脑袋之前再闭上，可见它是有眼皮的。较小的那对触角在嘴边，像肉须一样，也许是探测地形的'工具吧！
蜗牛喜欢吃菜叶，只要我拿菜叶放在它们身边，它们就立刻大啃起来。蜗牛吃菜的时候，不停地用细小的牙齿嚼着。我拿放大镜仔细观察，发现它们有许多牙齿，大概有上百颗呢！
蜗牛的行动很慢，它没有手足，只是肚子贴在地上。行走时，从尾部开始，皮肤一道道像波浪一样不断地往前推进，脖子伸的很长，触角一颤一颤的，像个老头，十分有趣。
蜗牛休息时也很有意思，把头往壳里一缩，便高枕无忧了。我往它身上泼水，它就伸出头来活动。
小蜗牛真有趣，我真喜欢它们。我还要继续观察它们的一举一动，期待着更多新的发现。

Visiting the Zoo
Yesterday was Sunday and it was a fine day.My parents and I visited the zoo.We went by bus.We started out at 8:00 in the morning and got there at 8:30.There were many people in the zoo.Some were watching the animals,some were playing games and others were resting under the trees.We went to watch the birds first.Then we came to see the monkeys.They were very lovely.We also saw the tigers and the lions.We saw many animals in the zoo.We felt very happy.

On Sunday morning, my parents took me to the zoo. We did not go there for a long time. Last week, my classmates told me that the zoo added some funny entertainment facilities. I was very curious. So, I asked my parents to took me there and they promised to. We got there at 9 o'clock. There were many people.
Most of them were parents and children. We first went to see the animal. I like parrots most. And then we saw the animal shows. Elephants, tigers, lions and monkeys did wonderful shows for us. People were happy, especially the children. After that, we went to experienced the entertainment facilities.
My mum was too scared to be with us. So, only my dad and I played. It was so exciting, but I was a little dizzy. However, I was very happy. It was a great day.
