一个炎热的天气里，11岁的温妮由于无聊和闷热，独自悄悄跑进丛林中探险。在那里，她遇见了长生不老的塔克一家。17岁英俊潇洒的少年杰西和他哥哥、父母，他们因为误服可长生不老的泉水而永远年轻，他们为了保守这个秘密而东躲西藏。但还是有许多人在寻找他们，想知道长生不老的秘密。
一个人喝了一口泉水，他就会永远不老，即使年龄已经很大了。虽然可以一直生活在地球上，但也是有麻烦的，比如：文中的迈尔斯喝了泉水之后，跟一名女子结了婚，不久，那名女子发现迈尔斯一直不老，就带着孩子离开了……
主人公温妮，是一个乐于助人、见义勇为的人。在帕克一家人遇到困难的时候，温妮便挺身而出，救了他们一家。
我们的生命就像一根燃烧的蜡烛，用光阴发光发热，最后燃尽，这就是生命的轮回。喝了不老泉，虽然可以长生不老，但就尝不到生活中的酸甜苦辣，也体会不到生命的自然规律，就如同路边的石头一样没有活力。故事里的帕克一家就喝了这种泉水，活了好多年。光阴被卡住了，眼看着时光轮回，自己却一点儿不变，永远也尝不到从年轻到年迈的滋味了。所以，自然的生命最神圣！

I surely disagree with father ’s philosophy. As a leader, he shouldn ’t use his power to make money. It is his duty to serve people wholeheartedly, just one person said “with great power comes great responsibility ”. If he stick to his philosophy. I believe that he will spend the rest of his life in prison. What’s worse, he could affect his son ’s philosophy, guiding him in the opposite direction , nothing can be done to reverse the trend itself. The only solution is to change father ’s philosophy. Because of many greedy officials in China, it is time to reverse the trend itself by establishing new policy. As Chinese always has been our confidence that we can change for the better and better.
In my opinion, there is more to to life than just money -it is happiness, nothing is important than happiness. We can live a colorful life in our spare time.

收到喆妈公益阅读社寄来的《不老泉》后，我欣喜若狂，很快我被这本获奖无数的经典小说所吸引，惊叹于美国儿童文学作家和插图画家&娜塔莉·巴比特的想象力，更为书中所蕴含的生命哲理而感动。
刚开始我为温妮在无意中发现不老泉的秘密，而觉得她很幸运。心想：假如她喝了那泉水，会让她长生不老。那么，她永远都停留在快乐的.童年，永远都是无忧无虑的11岁，她真是幸运的小姑娘。要知道这可是多少人们梦寐以求的事呀，可是继续往下阅读，特别是读到了塔特一家人的经历和遭遇后，我的观点彻底的改变了。
善良的塔特叔叔，为了让温妮明白生与死是不可抗拒的自然规律，为了让她保守不老泉的秘密，以身边的船、水、生物、动物等举例，用自己一家人痛苦的经历和遭遇，告诉温妮不能违背自然生长规律的道理。世界上的万事万物，都要经过生长、变化，一切有生命的动物、植物都要经历生与死的轮回，这个轮回就像一个旋转的轮子一样，转的永不停息。神秘黄衣人的贪婪和阴险让她明白，如果人们不遵循这个规律，都去喝那能长生不老的泉水，那么世界上的一切都会停留在原地不动，万事万物也会没有一切生机，那是多么可怕的永远停留啊！
书中的主人公温妮把杰西给她的一小瓶不老泉水给了自己受伤的好朋友蟾蜍喝，让蟾蜍永生不死，自己却放弃了长生不老，放弃了活在无忧无虑的11岁里。我想：她一定也是不想一直为了隐藏这个秘密而东躲西藏，也不想让别人用异样的眼光看她。
生命就像一支笔，用铅书写自己的人生，享受书写过程中带来的乐趣！直到这支笔用完，这就是生命的轮回。比如我们，现在还是小孩子，将来是青年、然后是中年、最后是老年、死亡，接下来又是新生……要是我们长生不老，光阴就被卡住了，眼看着时光轮回，自己却一点儿不变，不再是生命之轮的一部分，就如同路边的石头一样没有活力，多可怕呀！
我不要喝不老泉的水，我不想长生不老。我要经历时间的磨砺，享受成长的每一点滴！我也会更加珍惜、爱护自己的生命，因为生命对于每个人来说只有一次！

《不老泉》是我前一段时间看完的，我觉得：世界上的坏蛋真不少啊！竟然能干出这种事情！如果我们喝了不老泉的泉水，永远不变老，那么世界上得有多少人啊！这样不断繁衍，地球都得开通地下公寓了。等地下再也开通不了公寓了，人们都要迁移到月球。再说，粮食也不够用啊！
不过，我很喜欢塔克和梅。因为他们都很和蔼、善良，保护温妮，很有办法。可是梅犯了唯一一个错误：她把穿黄衣服的人枪毙了。其实让他永久坐牢就行了，或者让法律公正的把他绞死，梅反而偏偏要***死他。我知道梅当时是忍不住，但是这是***人啊！
我还很喜欢杰西和温妮。杰西长得很英俊，这一点我不得不承认，哪个女孩喜欢丑陋的男孩呢（他的心如果很好可以原谅，但他毕竟真的很丑啊）？杰西还很照顾温妮，要是有这样一个男孩朋友真的很好（因为那些讨厌、卑鄙的人总会说男女孩在一起是初恋，我很讨厌这一点，也很难忍受，因为我喜欢和男孩子玩）。我喜欢温妮是因为她很顾全大局，因为在梅要被绞死的那一夜，是温妮主动提出要帮助梅坐牢，让梅离开。这样做也很安全，因为14岁以下的孩子不能判刑，不过也很让家人感到羞耻。
再说一说，我很讨厌穿黄衣服的人，我相信你们也一定的讨厌他，因为他跟温妮的家人说温妮被绑架了就是因为他想占有那块独特的树林，把不老泉泉水一点一点卖出去，而且提出很高的价钱，让他占有人们的很多很多的钱财。你们是不是也这样想？
人一定要不断发展，争取把人生变得更好，但一定要靠自己，不要贪得无厌，想出各种各样一般人想不出的诡计，夺取别人辛辛苦苦挣来的钱，得到自己虽然富贵却卑鄙的人生。

这本书，为大家呈现了一个道理，有些人为了长生不老，跋山涉水，去找那口泉，可他们都并没有想过，自己喝完这种水，永远都不会再变，一直是那个摸样，这是一件多么痛苦的事情，而得知这个故事的主人公温妮，就有深刻的意识，没有去喝那泉水，从此，那口泉便无人知道。
这本书主要讲了温妮的父母和奶奶总是不让温妮出去玩，有一天温妮偷偷出去玩，发现了一个小男孩，从这开始泉水的秘密，便有人知道了，听完这个故事的温妮，对塔克一家微微地产生了一些好感，到后来，迈尔斯带她去钓鱼，杰西带她去玩，梅和塔克跟她谈话。渐渐地，渐渐地，渐渐地。温妮喜欢上了这个大家庭。
可惜的是，当初他们为温妮讲泉水的秘密时，没留意有人在偷听，最后那人想要卖泉水，这种过于贪图的人，终究会受到报应的，那个人就是黄西装，他为了可以长生不老，还要卖泉水，最后，死在了梅的枪下。
我觉得这个故事告诉了我们，一个人不要太贪，因为贪会使你失去很多，虽然温妮可以选择喝下泉水，长生不老；也可以不喝泉水，过普普通通的日子。但是温妮不像有些人似的，选择了喝泉水，而温妮没有，她选择了过普通人的生活，这种选择是明智的。
人虽然不能长生不老，但是可以让自己活得很快乐，这就足够了。

《不老泉》是娜塔莉·巴比特的成名之作。它主要讲述了小女孩温妮赌气离家出走，却在小树林里无意间发现了不老泉的秘密&&喝了可以长生不老，容颜也永远不会发生变化。然后，她被善良的塔克一家绑架了一天，并与他们过了一天。却不知这一切都被黄西装看见了，他从温妮的爸妈那里要来了小树林，报酬是找回珍妮。他来到塔克一家的家中，逼迫他们交出温妮，供出不老泉，并搬出森林。迫不得已，梅用枪托砸死了黄西装，而这一幕正好被林间村的治安警察目睹了。梅将面临被绞死的命运，但是，却没有一个人能置她于死地，因为她喝了不老泉。为了保全这个秘密，也为了梅，温妮做出了一个决定：让迈尔斯在晚上撬开监狱门，自己进去替换梅，让梅乘着夜色逃走。而杰克，则交给了温妮一杯不老泉的水，让她在十七岁那年喝下它，这样他们就可以一起走了。可是，这个愿望最终并没有达成，温妮为了救一只蟾蜍，将不老泉的水倒在了蟾蜍身上，自己却在78岁时去世。
这本书将善良的塔克一家和珍妮与为了发财而不顾一切的黄西装做了鲜明的对比。黄西装为了利益，为了发财，而不惜将不老泉的秘密公布于世，也不顾别人喝下后是否开心，只是一味地为了金钱。甚至当他遭到塔克一家的阻止后，竟想将他们打伤。那时，他的眼睛里只有利益，只有金钱，完完全全成了一个利益的奴隶
这让我想起了社会上的一些人。他们为了金钱，为了利益，不惜大打出手，有的甚至去***人放火，不顾一切地以各种手段获得金钱，最后因此进了监狱，穿上了囚服。他们也是一个个金钱的奴隶啊！
人要学会控制自己，别让自己成为金钱的奴隶，最终误入歧途！

故事讲述的是关于温妮和塔克一家的故事。有一天温妮在森林里玩，他看到了不老泉，就被梅给绑架走了。温妮来到了塔克的家里，知道了一个惊天动地的秘密，那些泉水喝了可以让人长生不老。然后他就和他们一家人生活在一起。可是有一个穿黄色西服的人，一直跟踪着他们，秘密也都知道了。梅怕他说出去，就把他打死了，但还住进了监狱。最后他们一家人和温妮成功的把梅给救出来了。他们一家人走了。但是温妮的长生不老水，自己没有喝，没有和他们在一起了。
我的感受：我在开始读这本书的时候，很想长生不老，因为我们之前读过《天蓝色的彼岸》这本书让我很珍惜生命，所以我不想死。但是读完这本书后我才知道，长生不老也未必是一件好事。就像故事中的塔克一家似的。他们一家活的像小偷似的，干工作不能让别人发现，还要来回的换工作，一辈子都很穷。一点意思都没有，生不如死。所以我认为生在世上度过自己一生要经历的事情，就可以了，老是活在世上也不是那么高兴的事情。大家都很像长生不老，但是生命只有短暂才会去珍惜，如果都可以长生不老，要珍惜生命干什么。
有时候我认为生命像个摇篮，随时都可能失去生命，所以这才可以让大家珍惜生命。真实的世界上没有不老泉，如果有我也不会喝，因为如果喝下去了，虽然永远都不会死去，但是永远也感受不到幸福。所以只有那一段段的时光才是最好的时候。只有那一段时光才是最美好的，最幸福的。
我认为故事写的很好，可以让人从一个小故事中脱节对长生不老的渴望。看后一定会有意想不到的收获。我希望大家有机会也可以读一读。

但是，这个秘密还是被一个阴险的人发现了，为了守住秘密，塔克一家倍受牵连，女主人梅因为误***了那个对泉水虎视眈眈的人送进了监狱。最终，温妮救出了梅。经历了一次次风波之后，生活又归于平静。林子再也无人深入。
但这个神奇的故事并未结束，温妮，还将面对那个也许决定她一生的选择。
尾声，带着几分凄凉。时间，磨平了往事。林子没了，温妮的宅子也没了，最后，温妮的选择浮出水面，带来了无限的伤感和震撼。一块墓碑上镌刻着温妮.福斯特的名字。
