其中，让我印象最深的就是西北山，它没有泰山的雄伟，没有黄山的多姿，也没有华山的悠久，但它却是我们连南人引以为傲的一座山峰。下面，我们就一起来感受一下西北山的特别之处吧。
在盘王庙的后方，那就是西北山了，你在山脚下，会看到旁边有户人家，最引人注目，就数他们家的鸡了，他们养的鸡又肥又大，而且是纯天然的，这离不开西北山的环境。沿着阶梯往上走，在两旁，你会看到各种各样的果树，到春天，最醒目的就是桃子树了，一片片粉红色的花瓣随着春风翩翩起舞，伴随着小鸟的欢快小调，使你不得不陶醉在这浪漫的氛围中，似乎什么忧愁都随之烟消云散了。
走到没有阶梯的地方，你会看到茂密的树林，一棵棵高大的\'树挺直了腰杆，听长辈说，它们已经在这生活了几百年了。阳光透过树叶投下阴影，地上出现了一点一点的小光斑，它们也来凑热闹了。顺着小路走去，旁边的石岩有很多密密麻麻的山果树，还有一些茶叶树，你还可以摘一些山果来解解馋。咦!怎么听到叮咚叮咚的声音呢?那是前面山泉水流的声音，越来越近，声音也越来越大了。

泉州，是个山明水秀的好地方，这里的居民都非常忠厚老实、认真自得，从不会矫揉造作，因此也养成了我乐天知命、不拘小节的奔放性格。依山傍海的美丽景致，每当心情不好时，眺望着巍峨的高山和蔚蓝的大海，躺在绿油油的草地，卧看天上的蓝天白云悠悠荡荡的自由来去，转瞬间就可将烦闷抛到九霄云外。所以，不少来自大都市的`观光客，来到泉州，不外乎就是想远离城市的喧嚣、放松心情、享受沉浸在大自然中的美好！
除了有怡人的风景，泉州还有其它令人赞叹的特色，如鬼斧神工、浑然天成的峡谷，具有民族风味的民居，远近驰名的石山，和浩瀚太平洋里竞相追如的鲸豚……等；另外，令人垂涎三尺的美食，如香喷喷的炸弹葱油饼、泉州扁食、曾记麻糬……等，当然，三不五时来个天摇地动的地震也让我印象深刻。
两年前，因爸爸、妈妈的工作关系，我们全家从泉州搬到了福州，这里的一切和泉州是那么的不同，多了车水马龙、多了喧嚣拥挤，少了眼前俯拾即是的天然景致、少了纯朴民情，在这里，每个人都战战兢兢、忙忙碌碌，生活总是在匆匆忙忙的节奏脚步中，囫囵吞枣的日复一日，年过一年。以前在泉州我总能名列前茅，而现在感受到强烈的竞争，我才了解“人外有人，天外有天。”所以每天都要卯足了劲来学习，勤奋不懈的努力。但汲汲营营中，我也失去了对生活的几分品味，这才真正体会到“月是故乡圆，水是故乡甜。”的乡愁啊！
