大英博物馆是世界上藏品最多的博物馆。那里有世界各地的展馆，每到一个展馆就像到了一个国家似的。在一天之内，你能领略到不同国家的文化。这里让我最记忆犹新的两个展馆是，古埃及馆和中国馆。
来到古埃及馆，眼前出现了一只铜猫，它的耳朵上带着金色的耳环，脖子上带着一串金项链，坐在地板上，像是在主人面前撒娇似的。在古埃及人里有钱的人就养的起一只猫，没钱的人可能连自己都养不起。
在古埃及馆的中间有一只石头雕刻的虫子，那就是古埃及的圣甲虫，你们听这个名字很陌生吧！我给你说出它的中文名字，你肯定很不可思议。他的中文名叫屎克螂，古埃及人居然把屎克螂奉为神。有趣吧！
你转过身来，就是最受欢迎的展馆木乃伊馆，这里有许多桩木乃伊，居然还有一桩打开的木乃伊。至于木乃伊制作步骤，我就不在这里细说了。在古埃及有有钱人死后才能做成木乃伊，还可以把自己的宠物做成木乃伊，比如说：猫木乃伊、狗木乃伊、牛木乃伊；没钱的人就直接扔到沙漠里。
结束了埃及馆，我就来到了中国馆。中国馆分为两个馆一个是瓷器专门馆，一个是中国陈列馆。我们先来到了瓷器专门馆，一进门，前面有许多人围着一个展柜，我从人群里挤了进去，原来是一对元代的青花瓷花瓶，这个青花瓷是中国历史上最早的青花瓷瓷器，上面的青花秀的是两条龙，很精美！
我们从楼梯下来，准备到中国陈列馆时，在楼梯间发现了一尊汉白玉佛像，他身上有很明显的两道裂痕，听讲解员一讲，原来这尊汉白玉佛像被切成了三块才运到了英国。
来到中国陈列馆，又有一个值得我们停下脚步，来细看的文物。那就是河北寺庙里的一个壁画，文物贩子把一整块的壁画连着后面的墙都挖下来了，因为太大，所以文物贩子把它切成了十二块，运到英国。看到我们中国的文物切成块儿运到英国，心好痛啊。
这里还有许多展馆，文物大约八百万件，现在馆内只能陈列其中百分之一，每天轮换一次，那得要多少年才能看完呀！
