若以为新县城处处涌动着的诗情画意是“小家碧玉”“最是那一低头的温柔”，那你是被她娴淑文静的外表迷住了。今日县城之新，更在于洋溢着一份亲和力。“天下和静，在于民乐”，如今，瓜渚湖公园免费开放，休闲之时，三五好友，踱步湖岸，小憩绿坪，亦或“闲来垂钓碧溪上”，其乐融融。而徘徊于步行街中，林林总总，熙熙攘攘，繁华之中掩饰不住挂在嘴角的那甜甜笑意。今日县城之魅力，还在于散发着一股蓬勃之劲。“若要富，先筑路”县城人深谙其中：金柯桥大道道通南北，直走高速；万商路、云集路云集万商；稽山路、山阴路毓秀钟灵。这路也生动了县城的`山水，彰显着县城的活力。
县城之新，是历史的美画；是时代的亮点；是斯人的活力。她岂止是“小家碧玉”？又何止是“大家闺秀”能概括了！
