首先要从身边小事做起，节约水和电。生活中的水污染是相当严重的，它的一个主要来源是工业废水。工业废水中内含超多有毒有害物质，如果在排放之前没有进行合理的污水处理，而直接进入河流湖泊等水域中，将对水资源造成十分严重的污染，影响水质以及水域内生物的存在。同时，由于水体及其他物质的流动性，水资源的污染所影响的将不仅仅仅是一片水域，污染物将透过水的流动，将污染带到流经的各个区域。目前，我国根据废水的不一样种类已制定了多种废水处理方案，并对废水排放标准进行严格限定。其次，生活污水主要表此刻洗衣和农用化肥方面，因此我们要严格控制含磷洗涤剂和农用化肥的过多使用，精心保护好身边的水资源。电器已成为人们居家生活的必需品，但也是居家生活中耗费能源多、碳排量较大的物品，因此合理的使用日常电器，持续良好的电器使用习惯，适时给电器断电，及时把下电器插头，就会大大降低日常的电能消耗，可谓节能减排。
