"most of the critics writing in the intellectual and literary journals of the day considered popular success a good reason to condemn a work," explains glancy. "if the public liked it, they certainly could not be seen to approve of it at all." modern critical opinion, however, has given the novel an important place among dickens's most mature works of fiction.

我终于进入了高中，坐在明亮的教室里，真舒服！呤，上课铃响了，我们安静地坐着等着物理老师的出场。
物理老师来了，他的开场白是老一套，其实，除了姓名、简介以外，又有什么好说的呢？我仔仔细细地观察了一下老师，他高高的个子，长长的脸，浓眉下面的小眼睛非常有神。老师一阵开场白后，就转入正题。不知大家在初中或者在平常的学习、生活中，有没有什么难以解答的物理难题，我可以帮你们解答。没想到物理老师能这样开课，真不错！可是，由于这是第一堂课，大家都有些拘谨，没人起来问问题。物理老师一看这种局面，他便自告奋勇，先给我们讲了一个故事。他讲的是一些太空航记，比如火星探路者号，还有95年冲出太阳系的那艘飞船，讲的是它们的形成以及原理。我们听的非常认真，对于这些很少接触的知识，我们非常喜欢。

新学期来到了，我走进了新学校。今天，陈老师给我们上了第一堂语文课。
上课前，我有许多疑问：陈老师上课活跃吗？她是表情严肃还是活泼上课铃声打断了我的思绪。
陈老师来了！只见她高高兴兴地走进了教室。她首先教我们唱了一首《写字歌》，用歌声告诉我们写字时要身正肩平，臂开两足安，不忘记看书写字时的三个一。她还告诉我们做是一种良好的.学习习惯，可以锻炼我们的动手、动脑能力，积累、丰富我们的知识，加深对读物的理解，锻炼分析、概括能力，提高理解及表达能力。
读书笔记怎么做呢？陈老师耐心的讲解，使我们豁然开朗：做读书笔记可以摘抄、写卡片、写采蜜本、编写提纲，还可以写。
陈老师还强调：不但读书要做笔记，还要随时使用工具书。她告诉我们使用工具书的三注意：①购书或借书时要轻拿轻放，保持安静；②遇到疑难问题要一边查阅，一边记笔记；③要认真从工具书上摘抄内容。
没想到陈老师上的语文课会有这么多精彩，真是身手不凡！新学期的第一堂语文课，你会永远留在我的记忆中！
（三）
开学第一天我踏进了实验学校的大门。高大的教学楼，笔直的旗杆还有那绿油油的操场。这一切在蓝天的衬托下显得是那么安详和谐。
开学第一课不是语文课，不是数学课，也不是英语课。它是一场毅力与团结的考验，也是一张坚持与勇敢的试卷，他是军训。响亮的哨声响起，空荡荡的操场上顿时多了一排排整齐挺拔的队伍。霎时，操场上那停留了一暑假的寂静，在那一刻荡然无存。取而代之的的是气势如虹的口号声和整齐的步伐声。他们是最悦耳的声音。军姿成了这一星期绿茵操场最显而易见的动作。放眼望去，操场上多了一抹橄榄绿，多了一张张严肃的面孔。朗朗的读书声在那里变成了严肃整齐的军歌声。我喜欢这一刻的校园，喜欢她的坚强，喜欢她的坚强，喜欢他的认真，喜欢他的执着。
开学第一课，我勇敢的坚持下来，开学第一课的苦是无法用语言表达的。或许对我们这些每天只会抱着书本认真读书公子小姐来说，更是痛苦中的痛苦。空中飘着几朵白云，但那烈日依旧没有停歇的挂在空中。面对那些像狙虫一样的汗水，也只能是忍受、忍受、再忍受。在这开学第一课里，我学会了坚持，执着、认真和坚强。他让我长大了很多，让我学会了很多，让我和大家交成了知己知彼的好朋友。第一堂课是我认识校园的第一课，是我结交朋友的第一课。他是第一节课，是让我受益匪浅的一节课，也是我永远忘不了的一节课，一个永远抹不掉的记忆。
