在这次地震中，一位正在教室中学习的小女孩被倒塌的教学楼压在了下面，身上伤痕累累。她用手把身边的碎石块搬开，腾出了一块很小的.空间。她继续搬着，但她的半条腿被压在一块很大的水泥板下，完全抽不出来。她毅然用一块尖锐的碎石，把那半条腿砍了下来。她拖着疲惫的身躯，和正在流血的半条腿，挖出了一条通向生命的通道。她以短痛换取了生命。就如一篇文章所说的：“在某个特定的时刻，你只有敢于舍弃，才有机会获得更长远的利益。”
在唐山大地震之前，有人发现他自制的地震检测仪响个不停，养在地下的兔子也跑了；公鸡不敢进窝，一直躲在高处，叫个不停；平时乖巧伶俐的小猫咪也整天垂头丧气，那人叫它，它也不理会。他觉得可能要发生地震了。但当他把他的猜测告诉院子里的人时，他们都不信，认为那人是杞人忧天。他只好自己做了一些准备与预防。唐山大地震中，他与家人，还有两个客人，都安全的躲过了这一劫。这也告诉我们，知道一些灾难前的现象也是不可少的。

每当我们随意地翻开报纸，轻松的心情总会被一些沉重的新闻所打破。以下是报纸上摘录的关于校园安全事故的新闻：2006年9月23日18：50时左右，内蒙古二中的学生上完晚自习从教室拥向楼梯。由于学生相互拥挤，一楼楼梯栏杆被挤坏，一些学生摔到在地，后边的学生不知道前面出事仍向前拥挤，结果导致惨剧发生。事故导致死亡21人，伤47人，其中6人重伤。
2003年1月5日，陕西省宝鸡县初中学生在放学下楼时，一个学生不慎踩空，撞到前边同学，后继学生发生拥挤踩踏，造成3名学生死亡，6名学生重伤，13名学生轻伤。
这些触目惊心的数字告诉我们：危险、伤害事故在我们身边频频发生，威胁着我们的生命，这血的教训一次又一次地为我们敲响了安全的警钟：生命诚可贵。
“安全教育”。这是一个老的不能在老的的问题了，从二十多年前我国就开始进行安全教育了。前不久，某校一位初三学生因为上体育课不慎摔倒，头部受了伤，耽误了学业。为什么至今还会出现什么什么地方、发生什么什么事故、死了多少人、伤了多少了人这些事情呢?
同学们，我们拥有花样年华，拥有美好的未来，然而一切的一切都建立在“安全”这一基础上，都需要我们时刻警惕隐患，防范危险事故。
操场上，那些互相追逐打闹的同学，你的脚步是否可以慢一些，再慢一些;楼梯口，那些你拥我挤的同学，你的动作能否轻一点，再轻一点。因为你一个小小的`过错，有时会酿成无法挽回的损失，甚至令花季中的同学过早地凋谢了。所以无论你出于何种原因，请你优先考虑生命安全，想想自己的亲人，想想自己的朋友，更想想自己的所作所为将带来的后果，想象因为你的父母、朋友、老师，将要承受怎样的打击?
