在词语舞会上，许多参加“词语宴会”的`来宾们，正在欢快的音乐声中寻找着自己的舞伴。
“粗”先生边跳边寻找着自己的舞伴，跳啊，找啊，他好不容易找到了自己搭配的伙伴，是“心”小姐。“粗”先生高兴地召唤着“心”小姐：“‘心’小姐，我们俩一起来跳支舞吧！”“心”小姐惊喜地跑过去，与“粗”先生一起跳舞，组合成一对“粗心”舞伴。可是“粗”先生老是跳不好，显得非常笨拙，总是踩到“心”小姐的脚，旁边的人看见了暗暗地嘲笑着他们：“你们连个舞都跳不好，可真笨呀！”
“心”小姐听了，非常地生气，难过地离开了“粗”先生去找别的舞伴。不一会儿，“心”小姐找来了一位“细”先生，组合成一对“细心”舞伴。这回“细”先生的舞跳得好多了，“心”小姐一点儿也不用担心脚被踩着。她们在舞池中欢快地翩翩起舞，别人看见了，羡慕地对她们说：“你们跳得可真棒，真是一对好舞伴！”
“细”先生和“心”小姐都很开心，并结成了一对好朋友。后来“心”小姐又找到了其它的舞伴，有“爱”先生，组成“爱心”；有“恒”先生，组成“恒心”；有“专”先生，组成“专心”；有“耐”先生，组成“耐心”……
这次词语舞会真是让“心”小姐欢欣雀跃，也让“心”小姐成为了舞会中最受瞩目的大明星！
