庐山不愧是避暑胜地，真的好凉爽啊！我们一边慢悠悠在山中漫步，一边惬意享受着习习 凉 风。我和姐姐走在前面，忽然发现远处一个悬崖。它像一座断掉的石桥，突兀地横在那里。看了介绍才知道，那是天桥冰溢口，由冰流侵蚀而形成，后来垮塌了。我十分感兴趣，拉着姐姐要一起过去看看。姐姐立刻反对：“不要不要啊！太可怕了！”我并没有就此罢休，硬是缠着姐姐走到那里去了。到了石桥才发现，原来那里都有黄色警戒线，离悬崖边还有一段距离呢！一点儿也不用害怕。“姐姐，我们再往前走一下吧！”我轻松而又自信地说。“不要啦！”姐姐大叫起来，“我才不敢呢！我站在这里都感觉头重脚轻、两腿打颤，怎么跟你往前走呀！”“哎呀，就算你走到这悬崖边也不用担心会掉下去啦！不是还有围栏的吗？再说了，你都比我大三岁呢！”可姐姐还是不同意。我接着做她的`思想工作：“就往前走一小步嘛！就走一步嘛！”姐姐无奈之下只好同意了。
我们俩向前迈了一步。顿时，视野开阔了许多——我看到了云雾缭绕中的青翠树木，看到了石缝中的小花小草……真是一幅美丽的山水画啊！我禁不住沉醉其中。迎面吹来的风拂过了我的脸颊，吹乱了我的头发，也吹进了我的心里。哇哦！好舒服哦！原来往前迈一步，不只是眼界开阔了，心境也宽敞了。
其实，这小小的一步不过只有几十厘米，然而就是这几十厘米，会让你的心境大不相同。在生活中我们也不缺乏这样的例子，很多次，有的人就是缺乏一点勇气，而失去了好机会。

我非常喜欢英语。我觉得每个同学都应该好好学习英语。这也是以后我们更进一步学习的基础，为了让同学们对英语感兴趣，把英语学好，我有这样几点建议：
一、组织同学们搜集有关资料，共同讨论学习英语的重要性，让大家从思想上重视英语的学习。
二、利用节日、纪念日举办各种活动，来激发大家学习英语的热情。例如，组织大家排练英语节目，小短剧、歌曲、朗诵……既丰富了大家的`课余生活，又锻炼了大家的英语表达能力，还能提高学习英语的兴趣，这不是一举多得的好事吗？
