爸爸对我的爱是特殊的，记得六岁那年我学骑自行车。爸爸将我扶住，我才放开胆子骑，爸爸一放掉，我就赖着不骑了。这可让爸爸够生气，扶到一半，就放掉了，敏感的我一下子就停了下来，车子重心不稳，倒了下来，我也摔得不轻，哇哇大哭。妈妈在一旁看着不忍心，就跑过来哄我，被爸爸制止了，爸爸说：“要想学自行车，不摔跤怎么行？”说完抱我上车，继续教我。这次我可不敢大意了，把心全放在了骑车上，丝毫没注意到爸爸已经放开了手。这样，我学会了骑车，我暗暗夸自己真聪明，却没想到爸爸的功劳。
还有那么一回，我把王阿姨的米袋子撞翻了，米洒了一地，弄的我不知所措。这时，我看见了爸爸的目光，又担心又高兴，担心的是爸爸会怎样责怪我，高兴的是爸爸应该会帮我处理这件事。我用无助的眼神望着爸爸，希望他能帮我想想办法。但是爸爸却对王阿姨说，我犯的错误要自己承担，还叫我把米捡回袋子。我强忍着泪水，捡完了所有的米，又饿又累，心中充满不解，别人的爸爸对孩子是“捧在手里怕摔了，含在嘴里怕化了”，但是我的爸爸为什么这样呢？回到家，顾不上埋怨，匆匆吃完饭就睡下了。晚上，我迷迷糊糊地听见妈妈的声音，她责备地对爸爸说：“孩子太小了，干嘛让她干这样的活！”爸爸说：“孩子自己犯的错，就该自己承担，我这样做，以后长大了，对她有好处的。”那一刹那，我读懂了，什么叫父爱。
