我认真的、反复的练习，希望能越熟练越好，因为我要参加“客家语朗读比赛”。整篇文章，我练到可以背诵，这样上场的时候，我会更有自信。
临上台之前，我用目光扫过裁判们***气腾腾的架势，我忍不住深呼吸了一大口，努力的帮自己大气：“你可以做到的，你是最棒的，你就当他们都是西瓜，没什么好怕的。”想着想着，脚步没踩稳，我差点当场摔的.四脚朝天。
所幸，上台后的几分钟，我不慌不忙的把稿子口齿清晰的念完一遍，那过程顺畅，一点也没有结巴，或是吃螺丝的现象。镇静下来后，我就知道自己的表现不会太差了。
这次的比赛，我得到了第一名，带给我更多的信心，以后参加比赛更是没在怕的了。

As is shown above, a leader father is sitting in the chair with a seal grasping in the hand, and a lot of money beside him. He seriously said to his son that there is more to life than just money -it is power. Simple as the picture is, but a profound truth is reveled in the picture.
I surely disagree with father ’s philosophy. As a leader, he shouldn ’t use his power to make money. It is his duty to serve people wholeheartedly, just one person said “with great power comes great responsibility ”. If he stick to his philosophy. I believe that he will spend the rest of his life in prison. What’s worse, he could affect his son ’s philosophy, guiding him in the opposite direction , nothing can be done to reverse the trend itself. The only solution is to change father ’s philosophy. Because of many greedy officials in China, it is time to reverse the trend itself by establishing new policy. As Chinese always has been our confidence that we can change for the better and better.
In my opinion, there is more to to life than just money -it is happiness, nothing is important than happiness. We can live a colorful life in our spare time.

盼啊！盼啊！终于盼到了一年一度的朗读比赛，心中有种说不出的喜悦，老师一宣布要朗读比赛了，全班人就沸腾起来，啊！唧唧喳喳的“歌声”，传到了我们的耳朵里，还有的人随手提起一把扫帚，好似在弹琴，还有的人真的扯起歌喉唱了起来，歌声激情丝毫不亚于哈林。
老师一拍桌子，我们一颤，回过神来，老师说：“你们只有十分钟准备，现在那么吵，怎么准备啊！”我们先翻开赵州桥这篇课文，鸦雀无声，老师教我们读一、二两段，没有办法，有人总是拖腔，老师耐心地、一遍又一遍地教我们，没过几分钟，某些人的嘴巴又痒痒，继续“唱起了歌”，黄老师还是耐心地制止。我发现，老师的呕心沥血，的确令我们敬佩，要是换我，我肯定没有那么多耐心。课文读了一遍又一遍，读得老练，不再那么死板，特别有感情！时间过得好慢哦！一分钟、两分钟、三分钟……似乎过了一世纪的时间，终于，三个女教师出现在我们的面前……
我们腰板挺直，双腿并拢，五十四双炯炯有神的大眼睛，现在，我们面对着“敌人”，要严肃！还是负有的表情，多么亲切，尽管我读得不拖腔，声音很响，想改变全班人的声音，可是，人多了可是会胜天的！我一人之力无法挽回“败局”了。读完课文之后，那篇课外的，《北大荒的秋天》，我读得眼泪都快掉出来了（因为读这篇课文太累）。读完以后，我们每个人的心里都有十五个水桶提水，七上八下，忐忑不安，可是，没有宣布成绩，前天真是雨打黄眉头——倒霉啊！
我真希望再举行一次朗读比赛啊！

几天前，老师通知我们要进行课文朗读比赛。我开始每天给妈妈一遍遍的朗读要比赛的这五篇课文，希望能做到熟能生巧。每次妈妈听完后总是竖起大拇指，点着头对我说：“声情并茂，真棒呀！”不过马上她又忍不住笑出声说：“你的表情很到位啊，眉毛动起来好有意思，哈哈！”
今天下午三点，线上朗读抽测比赛开始了。我信心满满的准备着，收到老师的视频会议邀请，我马上进入。等老师看人进齐了，说：“第一个朗读的是二年一班的闫圣煦……”“啊！是在叫我的名字，我是第一个。”那时候，我的脑子里突然一片空白，我仿佛听到了心在砰砰砰的乱跳，心想：我一定要读好这篇！可不知道为什么，我开始紧张起来了，我把课文的前半部分读得快了，后半部分适应后，才渐渐地慢了下来。我觉得我读得没有练习的时候读得好，所以朗读完后我就很郁闷。
比赛结束后我开始反思起来，为什么我会出现失误？不是自认为倒背如流吗？怎么被第一个抽到就紧张得不行了？其实没有呀！我还是不够熟练，课文该慢慢读的地方读的太快了，紧张地忘了课文的节奏、语调。如果我准备的足够充分，就会克服恐慌和紧张，把课文有感情地朗读好。我想起了妈妈常常对我说的一句话：“机会总是留给有准备的人。”下一次，我一定做好更充分的准备，抓住机会！
真是“台上一分钟，台下十年功”啊！我会继续努力练习！

Please accept my resignation as associate chemist at the GERT Institute. I plan to leave my job here on September 30, 19–, taking a few days of annual leave just prior to that effective date. As you know, my primary interest has been in the oil and gas industry. Therefore, I’ve accepted a position with Fury Refining, Inc., that should put me back in touch with my “first love.” Although I’m eager to accept the challenges in this new position, I regret leaving the institute. You and the organization as a whole have treated me very well over the past three years. I won’t forget the friendship and professional growth I’ve experienced as an employee here. Best wishes to all of you for years of expansion here.
